Cintron would hold all the physical advantages over Cotto. He's just mentally weaker and lacks ring intelligence but he showed he had good stamina, heart and a very solid chin in his last fight against Margarito. Every time Tony hit him with a good shot Cintron would respond immediately with his own and he did go out on his shield which means he has improved his mental conditioning. He only turns into a basket case when he can't hurt his opponent which will not be the case against someone like Cotto. He's also slightly taller than Margarito with a little more reach so it would be hard for Cotto to box him from the outside. Cotto's only chance is to get inside and rough him up to the body and head. If he gets caught coming in against Cintron it would be lights out without a doubt. Cintron carries his power into the later rounds so would have no stamina issues. Besides, Cotto can never set a reckless pace like Margarito so I doubt the pressure will get to Cintron in this match.

Kermit wouldn't go 6 rounds with Cotto. Look at what Cotto did to Margarito for the first few rounds. If he started like that against Cintron, Kermit wouldn't keep his head and find some harsh body shots coming his way. Although he has the most powerful punch at his weight, i don't think it would find its way through Cotto. Margarito gave him hell, Kermit doesn't have the workrate to do the same.

This would be an interesting fight. I would not want to see that fight yet. I would like to see Cintron fight the winner of the zab clottey fight. Cotto needs a tune-up (mental Tune-up) fight. Then of course an opportunity to earn his belt back from Margarito.

Look at my past posts. I have always had love for Cintron. I wanted Margs to beat him, but I have always like Cintron. I think he just ran into the wrong fighter. I think he beats Berto, Judah, Clottey, and MAYBE Cotto. I think he has the skill set to beat Cotto, plus a mean right hand, and uppercut. Cotto is ALWAYS open for the upper. Pick'em. I would really like to see him vs. PW. I think that would be a great fight. He has a decent chance to beat him. The only one I dont favor him against is Margs. I don't favor anybody against the Termi.. I mean, Marg's right now. I can see Margs winning 2/3 fights with someone like Cotto, other than that, the rest will ge pounded. I'm waiting for PW to get in the ring again and fight a totally different fighter. He barely got by an unfocused Marg and survived on his size alone...
