Half human Half hybrid ....... shouldn't he be a hybrid , half human half alien ? (not native english here ...) , in any case cant wait for AJ to bomb the bomber away , he will FOLD the second he gets hit hard
Well thats how we know who he is over here and yeah I sparred same guys he did they didn’t knock me out idk
WTF are you on about ? are you seriously implying you did better then AJ in sparring the "same guys" , am i reading this subtext correctly ? you calling him a bum telling us you sparred the same guys and did better ?
Talk about living in LALA land ! soon you will tell us that YOU can be beat AJ!! GTFO with this BS dude you sound like you dont know your place in the world , i will give you hint , its not on top of the boxing world earning millions.
Exactly, and he only landed jabs and jabs most of the time.
Pathetic fight for him
Pathetic? why you need to be such a fanboy ? did you call Canelo pathetic after the first fight ? I dont mind the result (although i did think GGG pulled it off , but alas I am biased as i wanted him to win) , Canelo did much better then the first fight , MUCH better and it resulted in a drawn card and 2 115-113 , which should tell you he LOST the first one CLEARLY , but you as a fanboy will not be able to admit it of course....
Gratz to Canelo for a great fight, he came to bang and he gained GGG respect very early in the fight and GGG was not able to bully him at any point in the fight,
some of the big shots in the fight came from GGG late in the fight where Canelo was shook , but he rebounded very well.
GGG was scared to go to the body and it showed , head hunting all night was not the way to break Canelo down , that boy has some serious chin and heart.
A 3rd fight will be the same or even worse for GGG as he continue to age and Canelo continue to evolve and get more natural at the weight class.
Those 2 are levels above the rest , and you will see it once they go back fighting the rest of the division.
:boxing::boxing:
From a video I watched earlier it sounds like Dana intends/has no problem releasing the full video once the fight is over (I really don't get why anyone would expect them to release that much footage BEFORE the Floyd fight to f#ck up their element of surprise with how Conor fights in the ring) so we will find out who's bsing or not soon enough.
I also heard Paulie on Big Brown Breakdown today seemingly conspiracy theorying by suggesting that the real reason they don't intend to release the 12 rounds is cuz they are editing the first session of sparring with the second session of sparring to make it look less one sided lol.
Paulie is my guy, but he's sounding more insane the more he talks about these sparring sessions. I think its extremely likely these 20 rounds & even the 12 rounds the last time were competitive or one would likely feel Conor "won" the two sparring sessions but Paulie is embarrassed about it. Honestly its kinda shocking to me either way as I expected a guy like Paulie, who's respectable & is probably a top 20ish, top 30ish guy if he wasn't retired today, even out of shape, to not allow a 0-0 guy to be competitive with him. So for me I feel like Conor has been vastly underrated as a boxer or top 20ish, top 30ish isn't as good as I would've thought if a 0-0 guy can be competitive with someone so high up in rankings & more skilled than 98%+ of pro boxers.
They will need the Avatar team to work on this editing as they will be wearing different clothes and i think McG switched gloves (not 100%) , its mission impossible kind of **** , Paulie should have taken the high road and say that McG was unorthodox and he was surprised at how good he was , instead he was caught lying on the single most important point of the entire discussion , the "he got frustrated in the clinch and shoved me" its no where close to what happened even if you consider it a push and not a KD , he cannot be trusted anymore and if the UFC won't release the tapes he is done as a celeb , he will be mocked by everyone until he retires.
I'm not sure what's so hard to understand.
I don't think he should release the footage i am merely pointing out the contraction he is making.
Dana sent showtime the sparring footage to use on all access but they choose not to use it. So he had no problem with showtime showing the footage. if hes happy for showtime to show it, why isn't he happy to just put the footage out himself? You can't say because they don't want to give away anything hes been working on because he was happy for showtime to show the footage.
Showtime would not be showing the entire thing ,they will pick what they want to show and then get a green light to show the parts they chose , in all honesty this has gone way beyond what it should be , fight in 9 days lets see how conor handles him self in the ring.
Man this fight needs to happen already the MMA fans are in full force going crazy over here , "Conor is going to drop Floyd with each left he lands" .... jesus ****ing christ how did he manage to sell this BS ???? he is the god of marketing , unreal.
One could reasonably argue that Mike Tyson would be nothing more than a minor irritant / nuisance to some of the biggest top modern heavyweights in size like Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko. This mainly stems from the fact that Mike Tyson's knockout power looked significantly ineffective against modern sized heavyweights on a consistent basis. Thus, it's debatable if Mike Tyson even has the power to KO someone with the size + skill of Anthony Joshua or even hurt him easily. It's also debatable that Anthony Joshua might even be able to walk through some of Mike Tyson's punches and then just simply destroy him. Mike Tyson's failure to barely even put a dent on the likes of Danny Williams and Brian Nielsen (2 guys over 250 pounds) supports this possibility.
To me, this is a near mismatch in favor of Anthony Joshua. Any version of Mike Tyson gets totally obliterated in probably the first round, simply because I don't think Mike Tyson has the single punch power to hurt Anthony Joshua enough to discourage him from attacking. The fact that Danny Williams (a 250+ pound bum) walked through multiple of Mike Tyson's hardest punches without going down is evidence that Anthony Joshua (a 250+ pound skilled heavyweight) is likely to be able to do the same, but whilst being far more effective offensively and defensively.
So my verdict on this fight is a brutal knockout victory for Anthony Joshua inside 1-3 rounds. I doubt Mike Tyson is even going to see past the first round in all honesty.
Is this a serious post ? really asking , you believe in all honesty that Tyson is not going past the first round ? i think you need to take a look on how Tyson fights , there is 0 chance he loses in that first round because AJ will be shelling up trying to understand whats going on , will he be able to adjust to Tyson in the mid/later rounds ? maybe but he might be on his back already.
I repeat there is almost 0 chance Tyson will be the one losing in the first round.
We are talking about one of the best defensive HW and a BEAST when at his prime and you think AJ takes him out in 1 ..... jezzz.... he was hitting god damn Whyte for i dont know how many rounds and he didnt KO him , same with breazle , and he is going to KO primed mike in a round!! in all honesty you really underrate prime mike to a point of a bum from the street which is crazy.
Joe was special the little guys are always much flashier , small man boxing is way different then the big man boxing , joe was flashy in smw which is harder to do then in 130 , that said Loma is still amazing
There is a dedicated sub forum in sherdog about this fight most of them are sure Paulie is saying what he is saying because he was lit up in sparring due to the black eye picture and then he got roasted by boxing fans. So now he is trying so save face and say he was nothing special as he can't handle the "novice kicked your ass " he is getting , do I think that's the case ? No , Connor is done for , but you guys don't know the half of it if your think no one gives mcg a chance outside this forums
I been saying since this fight was made do not be shocked if this fight is very hard for Cotto. Kamagai is bigger and has a iron chin, never been down. And he's a hard hitting brawler who only knows how to come forward and throws a ton of punches. If Cotto shows any rust or slippage in age he could be in for a very long bloody night.
You also have Vargas vs Rios title fight that's going to be a war.
Bloody for sure , cotto will be bleeding if it goes past 9
Too bad Arum couldn't get this fight done , its the best fight for the little guys in YEARS in regards to credentials , really hoped we will get it once Loma became pro but it seems we won't :(
People been doing that since the 80's bro lmfao. What are you talking about?
The difference with this fight will be MORE people will be having these lil parties & MORE people will be going into these lil sports bars &/or MORE sports bars will be showing the fight.
This fight is gonna do insane numbers. I honestly don't see how you guys aren't noticing all the people talking about this fight that NEVER talk about boxing. There were 20k-ish people at 4 different press conferences ffs. I've never seen a combined 80k-ish people attend a boxing press tour.
That said I would suggest its not a lock that I think it breaks the PPV record, cuz I think all sorts of random sh^t that only with hindsight one can fully grasp what happened could effect this fights appeal with people, but I do think worst case it'll be the 2nd biggest PPV fight of all time.
Agree , not only its a crossover fight it has the 2 biggest stars between the 2 sports + having crazy press tour + the great white hope vs the bad black guy it has all the shtiks to sell well to the casuals , i can't see a situation where its NOT top 2 PPV ever , hope Floyd batters him and humiliate him in the ring until he says NO MAS , first time I'm rooting for floyd hope he will not dissapoint :) , everyone at my work are talking about the fight and most of them think its competitive and a LOT thinks Conor KO "the old man"........ its big and its going to sell crazy numbers for sure.
Boxing fans are in for a shock. LMAO I cant wait to see the reactions once Conor lays floyd flat on the canvas.
Will you be here once Conor loses ? or you going to ride into the sunset like your male crush object but short 100M to show for it ?
I can't believe you still have the GGG name , CHANGE IT you embarrass the rest of his fans :( , sherdog is waiting for you , there are thousands like you there.
McGregor is the one dude.
When you bring in somebody to spar, you try to learn and prepare yourself for who you're fighting....not get all macho and try to hurt them.
Connor is a fool.
I was on paulie side on the start , but the way he went to every media outlet and bashed conor non stop about everything from sparring to how the camp is set and where they sleep and what not when you are just a sparring partner was annoying , but i said "well maybe he is right in doing so cuz McG just released BS photos" but in the end of the day paulie is a lier , and i dont believe a word he said about the spar , mainly about the part where he was knocked down and got up and smacked talked , he looked gassed and wasted.
It was a dick move by McG but Paulie was talking smack for a while and he got what he deserved trying to force himself into the limelight , i would say that nothign there looked special and i expect Floyd to hammer him really good and if we can believe the rumors from Floyd camp then he is beasting it up breaking down sparring partners (i.e several).
First time since PBF was gone that i root for Floyd , finally on the winning side !!!! hhhhh , lets hope be breaks his will during this fight it will be AMAZING for all the BS connor has being spewing.
The answer to OP question is as follows.
Be 12 years younger.
Be bigger.
Be in possession of true knockout power.
Be the longest southpaw he's faced.
Be able to dominate him in the clinch when he tries to stall and hug.
Be someone other than an intimidated fanboy playing the role of victim like Berto.
Be used to being hit by 4oz gloves by opponents as large as 170lb, rendering Floyd's pillows extra luxurious.
There, not that difficult is it?
Not sure i follow your commonsense here , you are saying that McG is going to beat Floyd because of the above reasons ?
Odds are if she was working @ Japanese night club she was an "host" , in Japan its very common to have girls of all kinds (they import them by the dozen) to be payed to entertain the customers while making them buy drinks non stop , they are not straight up hookers , but its not uncommon that they night ends with another sort of payment ..... so she is not some kind of hindu saint thats 100% ..... wish them best of luck !!! doing it "pretty woman" style usually ends up in a disaster time will tell
Compubox has been a joke. This is what you idiots have used to justify so many of your robberies
How did you score the fight ? did you had Horn winning? did you even watch the fight or just here to troll the manny fans ? be honest !
If Pacquiao was going to receive a potentially record breaking purse for fighting Horn then I wouldn't complain about it. Can't hate a fighter for going after the big money.
But that's not what's happening, is it? Pac is taking LESS money than usual to fight Horn when there are better options available.
That's the difference.
Well tbh Floyd vs Pac 2 will generate more then this fiasco and will be more interesting , i dont blame Floyd nor Pac , but Floyd is not going for the big money he is going for the biggest money with least resistance , as i said a rematch with Pac will generate more.
There hasn't even been an offer yet so stop your whining.
Not into the details , but no matter what ppl here believe , you dont just open a mail and see an offer , you agree on both sides wanting the fight and then you get an offer (from the side that started the talks ,but not always) , so if Loma is not on board and not agreeing , what you want rigo team to do ? send spam mails with offers ? it doesnt work like that , what needs to happen is Loma`s teams says lets do it , show us what you got and then they will send the base line offer on which negotiations will proceed.
Also no one is whining , just pointing to the fact that we wont get another chance to see both fighters in the ring , Rigo is almost done and Loma is going up in weight.
That's nonsense. Kovalev is talking about moving up to CW and getting a new coach.
How the heck does that translate into him saying he didn't get hit low by Ward?
I wanted Kov to smack Ward HARD , but to be honest he lost the fight , is ward the cleanest fighter in the game ? no , but this wasn't anything drastic , he showed class when he hurt Kovalev at one point with a legit punch to the body and instead of ENDING him he was so surprised he looked at the ref while kov was recovering doing nothing and the ref said lets go and he didnt , hitting below the belt is not a DQ , even if you take a point from Ward on one of those punches , Kov was DONE , he had no offense once he gassed and he 100% wouldve been beaten in the last 4 rounds , it was over and ward was the better man , no shame in saying that.
UFC is starting to crack from the inside , their champs are trying to whore for money knowing they going to lose, this is not a good look for them..........
Ward's reasoning is correct.
True, although Adonis chose to go with Haymon and stay with Showtime, this is all true. Stevenson made some moves that lead him to be frozen out of Kovalev/Hopkins winner.
Also true. Stevenson vs Kovalev not happening was Duva and HBO's fault for not wanting to work with Showtime, but in the end, again, it was A.S. who chose to go with Haymon/SHO. And yes, Ward came up from 168 after his surgery, removed the rust with Smith, a good fighter in Barrera, and Brand and then fought Kovalev almost in no time at all after his injury/promotional issues.
If the fight can happen, I would like to see it. But I don't know what's all the fake little fan pressure on Ward to fight an HBO fighter. He has Kovalev coming up, and I see people talking about Ward vs Stevenson and Beterbiev, and not Kovalev vs Stevenson and Beterbiev.
You must be crazy , before Ward stepped up to fight Kov we had 1000 threads about Stevenson vs Kov , the matter of fact is the everyone wants to see the best fighting the best , and if Ward comes out with the belts tomorrow then HE is the man we need to see with Adonis , if its Kov then its Kov vs Adonis we want , simple.
It doesn't matter , not like history will forget who was 50 , other then history it's irrelevant , if he wanted 50 he could've fight another berto , he doesn't do it for 50 he does it for $$$$$$
So PAC out boxes horn and you think the come forward do nothing guy won , you said it in the other thread of yours , but when it's your guys doing it you call it schooling , you saying horn won the fight shows you have an agenda and you don't care about boxing just about certain fighters which is ok but just be upfront about it, maybe when you grow up you will see how childish and insecure you are
GGG too big + Floyd is retired , as a big GGG fan i am 100% certain that if he doesnt have the size advantage (and a substantial one) he is NOT winning , of course there is a point where size matters , GGG fans should stop worrying about a retired small WW @ 40 and focus on real fights , are ppl that desperate to see Floyd lose ?
Floyd for all the BS hes done through the years is LEAGUES ahead of GGG in the sport of boxing , and thats just how it is , if GGG takes Canelo to school it will raise his profile for sure , but Floyd is on a different scale , GGG will not be able to match him unless he really goes for greatness and start looking for the real career defining fights (Canelo and Jacobs are the only ones that comes to mind and one of them was a VERY competitive fight while the other has not taken place yet).
