Me vs Terrance, this one was probably one of my three best if not the best as far as back and forth
In high school, one of my friends one day walking home was throwing rocks at this puerto rican and black guys. The next day they were supposed to fight and the black guy (Terrance) called out my friend and my friend was scared and didnt want to fight. After that terrance thought he was the hardest dude alive. One day Me and another friend were walking home behind Terrance and two of his friends and we werecrackin jokes and stuff and I guess Terrance heard us laughing and thought we were laughing at him cause he kept looking back trying to mad dog us. Im all about fighting so I wasnt going to take that, I saw a hackey sack on the ground so I picked it up and threw it at them a couple times and after we talked shit back and forth. Terrance said "Fuck that, this shit ends now!" and he took his head phones off and squared up, I did too and it was on. He was circling to my left so I was thinking I was going to just land one left hook (my hardest punch) and knock him out cause he was moving into it. I threw it and at the same time he threw a right and our fists hit eachother, I pivoted my foot and I had on payless shoes that zipped up and werent zipped all the way so when I pivoted my foot twisted out of the shoe.
I looked down at my foot and pushed my foot back in and looked at terrance and he was jumping up to throw a kick, he threw a side kick that hit my ribs, I tried to catch it but didnt in time and them grabbed him in a bear hug and went for a slam but he nailed me in my forehead, I let go and backed off and we traded punches, I wrapped him up again and went for a slam and he slid out and backed off, we went to trade again, punch for punch, it was crazy. I remember his punches coming and then all of a sudden they stopped, It was because I had caught him with a right hand right on his eye socket. He covered up and said "AAHHHH!!" I grabbed his shirt with my left and threw another right but it was blocked, then I put alot into one more right and it landed flush on his eye socket again, he was covering up so I wrapped him up and slammed him, I went to pummel him on the ground but he covered and turned over, so I got him a rear naked choke, he threw a backward punch and his thumb went right into my eye. I told him to tap or I was gonna put him out, he didnttap but everyone watching was telling me to let him go cause I guess his face looked bad and they thought I was going to kill him. I tightened the choke and lifted him off the ground with it and his friend grabbed his foot and started yanking him away so I just let him go. His eye swole up and after that he started walking a different way home, he didnt hang out with those same friends and he started acting and dressing completely differant.
That's raw.
I like that you took us through each blow. That's the most important shit.
Each blow is like a perfect snowflake that has to be captured.
Honestly, I think Hollywood has never gotten fight scenes.. They always rush us into these silly setups. They pass over the significance of a punch, a kick, a headbut; in the movies.
Individual punches and moves are legendary inside my mind.
I once saw a guy punch a hurled Margarita pitcher out of the air into a million peices in a crowded bar.
I saw someone get hit with such a huge haymaker right- he bounced off the concrete so hard it knocked out two of his teeth.
I saw a friend of mine throw a perfect strike with a baseball through the back window of a retreating car from at least 100 feet in the dark, at an angle.
Thanks Squabbs.
