What boxer did u think was gna die in the ring when he was taking a beating?
I gta say i think paulie - cotto has to be a canidtate his face was so messed up and so is cotto-quinto carlos say it better himself "im dead,im dead" in his corner before they stopped the fight and i gta admit i thought carroles was done against castilo too.
Jeff Lacy when he was destroyed by Joe Calzaghe.
I really feared for the guy.
Towards the end of the fight his eye was all closed up and he was not fighting back at all.
I was just thinkin, I read someone say Mosley De La Hoya...
I was thinkin in the mayweather de la hoya II Presser, shane mosley could get up and speak on Oscars behalf like he did last time and say...
You know Floyd Mayweather might be the best fighter in the world, But Ill gaurantee you this, People will always remember the two fights between me and Oscar.... Nobody will remember the fight between Oscar and Floyd because it was a letdown.
Although Im sure he wouldnt say that in the rematch presser cuz it would kind of kill hyping up that fight LOL... but it is something shane could throw in Floyds face... You might be the best, but nobody remembers you for great fights...
Hah, and I like floyd... but its true.
I always think that Cory Spinks oppenents are on the border of dying of boredom in the ring with him. Us ay HBO pass the Vodka around to get through them bore fests
JIM!
lol........

I would say Roy Jones Jr. after he was knocked out by Glen Johnson.
i can only think of two.
gatti vs gomez- i thought gatti was lucky that gomez is not a hard puncher
barrera vs pacqiaou 1- for me that fight should not have reached the 11th round
From the Tyson KO reels, Marvis Frazier looks like he went towards the light for a second when his body crumbles in the corner. The sad is part is Smokin' Joe was working his corner that night.
rofl yeh that was disturbing seeing his head rock back and fourth after he fell to his knees

gatti when he fought mayweather, and the only reason i put this in here, is because gatti really wasn't throwing back at all, and taking a halacious beating by floyd, and after that combo in the 6th round that floyd threw on gatti, i was like, "please stop the fight buddy. had he not stopped the fight, the ref would have eventually had to stop it, and gatti would have possibly been severly damaged because if you guys remember, floyd at one point landed 80% of hsi power shots, that's insane, and this from a guy who wasn't considered a huge puncher, but at 140, he was a killer, and he would have killed gatti imo.
I've never thought this. But I was just watching highlights of Thompson/Eubank II on youtube the other day and it reminded me of the pasting that Eubank took, his face was well and truly messed up. He really had some balls to go up to crusierweight and take on a big hard hitting cruiser like Thompson, and to keep going and going despite the punishment.

That's a good one. Chris is cool, in that he has no reservation about admitting to fear in conversation, yet in the ring he showed none of it. Some fighters live suicidally, so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise when they fight suicidally. Eubank is different in that sense, so his courage in the ring arguably comes from somewhere deeper than some others.
There have been a bunch of fights over the past 7 years or so where I thought I was about to see someone get terminally hurt.
The Castillo-Corrales bouts are one example.
EDIT: And I really do feel for Gatti. And some of the shit he takes, the way people have celebrated or even laughed at some of the whoopings he took. Too bad.
