Devin Haney is very skilled. I could see for moments, I think between rounds 2 and 5, that he was outboxing Ryan, and had him back pedalling. I thought there, that Ryan would lose a UD. Or that Haney could even hurt Ryan. However, part of that success was that he was able to complete nullify some of Ryan's strenghts by illegaly clinching all the time. Remember folks, excessive clinching is illegal in boxing, it's in the rules. Some people say clinching is part of the game. Sure, but if something is valid, why would it be penalized in the rules? Which boxer or prospect do we have now? Castaño doesn't have many years ahead. Ezequiel Matthysse (Lucas nephew) was good in the amateurs but struggling a bit at the pro level. Spence is used to fighting mostly orthodox fighters and enjoying his southpaw advantage. Just like some tennis players have advantages by being left handed. Crawford also fought like a southpaw giving him angles and shots he wasn't so used to. Spence was overrated imo. A talented weight bully that was never an ATG like some tried to paint him. No no. I was watching the highlights again and I think Canelo was having some success in the first 4 rounds. I'm not saying he won them all or anything like that. The moment he stupidly started to aim for the arms instead of scoring blows, he lost the fight. It was ridiculous. I'm not saying he could have won. But maybe it could have been a closer fight. Guys, Bivol became a very important champion at 175, top 3 in the division and possibly top 1/2 like four or five years ago. If you guys consider yourselves boxing fans, how could it be that you didn't know about Bivol or about how great of a fighter he is? No wonder some of you think Canelo beat GGG twice.

Canelo took a risk and lost. I think they thought that Bivol didn't have a chin. But he did. I always thought Bivol was very talented and would beat Canelo. I applaud Canelo Alvarez for taking this risk! And if you watch Canelo's interviews, he seems very honest, kind, and a humble man. My problem is... if he is so honest and kind, why doesn't he publicly address the fact that he always have the judges in his pockets? that every fighter needs to win 9 or 10 rounds to be given 7? that if you beat him 7-5 in the cards you lose 5-7? or if you beat him 8-4 you get a draw? How did you score the fight without hate for Teofimo and love for the underdog? Still the same way? I feel that there were many super close rounds. I can definitely understand Lopez thought that he won the fight. He seemed to have landed the more meaningful punches. It could have gone either way. Did anyone score a draw or 7-5 victory for Lopez?

Golovkin and Canelo fought 24 rounds. Canelo won 11 rounds max. Golovkin won 13. First fight, clear Golovkin win. 8-4 or 7-5, whatever you prefer. Only retards think this was a draw. Second fight, very close, could have gone either way. I saw GGG win as well but, any way, judges didn't. This was 36-37 years old Golovkin against prime Canelo. Respect to Golovkin, he beat Saul "the goat" Clenbuterelo Alvarez.

I see a man that outsizes and outweighs everyone, and that uses a lot of dirty tactics to tire down their opponents. He wrestles a lot. Clinches a lot. At least against Wilder he did that int he last two fights. Very horrible to watch. He couldn't spend one minute without employing these tactics. If you all love this type of gameplan... okey. 1. Boxing fans want to see the best fighting the best. This happens less frequently now. They marinate fights. They duck fights. They make the fans wait a few years for a fight they want to see right now. 2. Some fights have not delivered to the hype and it's the sports fault. They have become boring. Fool me once it's your fault, fool me twice it's my fault. The world was excited about Mayweather vs Paquiao. Even granmothers watched that fight. Many hardcore fans thought it was an interesting 8-4 type of schooling. But the casual fans saw it better, they saw a man hug another man several times each round to avoid a fight. Memes were created about this. Favoritism and lack of rules enforcing by referees don't help. Deduct points to those who break the rule of excessive clinching. Fighters selecting the opponent gloves, etc. It has become a joke. A-sides being getting away with a failed drug test. 3. Robberies. A-side getting help on the scorecards has become so frequent that it has also hunted casuals away. I don't even want to give examples here. 4. Too many divisions and organizations. There was a time in which boxing had 8 divisions or so? maybe 10? and two recognized world title organizations? now we have four and something like 16 or 18 weight classes? it's hard to recognize who are the real champions now. There are many. There are probably some other reasons. They are treating the boxing fan as their bitch. Do you think this wouldn't bring any consequence? I've seen this pattern a lot already. You have three judges. The A-side fighter that you want to protect and the B-side fighter. The possibilities more or less of the real outcome are this: A side wins wide UD A side wins close UD/SD Draw B side wins close UD/SD B side wins wide UD And KO's, of course, in which case scorecards don't matter. So you can cover four of the five scenarios to protect the A-side by doing this: 1. You tell the first judge, to score as many rounds as possible to the A-side, even if it doesn't make any sense. This judge will have A-side winning no matter what, so you have one in the pocket. 2. To the second judge, you tell him to give the B-side the very clear rounds he won only, and the A-side gets the rounds that he actually won plus any other "close" round. 3. To the third judge, you tell him to score the fight with honesty. By using this model, chances are that you will always end up protecting the A-side from an embarrassment, unless he loses like 10-2 or something in which B-side might get a SD win if lucky, and at the same time you can make it look like "it was no robbery" because two of the three judges had "reasonable" scores, and only one of the judges is seen as "corrupt". With this model you can easily turn a 8-4 fight into a draw, also.
