I haven't seen much of him, but would like to. Maybe he is nothing to get excited about, but he has few names on his list that I was surprised to learn he beat.... even if they are at the tail end of their careers. At any rate he might be exciting to watch with his apparent power.
I just don't see a reason for Manny to go above and beyond in the testing. Floyd doesn't get to change the rules. He can negotiate items, but if that particular "want" doesn't end up in the contract too bad. Don't sign on the dotted line. Would Floyd fight Manny at 140 if the testing demands were met? I highly doubt it.
Obviously, I have been wrong a few times about fights! This kid just excites me and I am seeing big things for him. Huge test, but my gut is telling big night for him.
I like Abner to win the tourney (I got Ringside seats in Tacoma) and that would set up the Montiel/Donaire winner vs. Mares.
Ringside! Awesome. Mares has much to prove but I am certainly a new fan!
Wow you do know how to use Boxrec! You missed the obvious that Ernie could punch and punch well. Wlad does not have the greatest beard. If I was trolling I might have mentioned Tex Cobb.
Ali, Frazier, Holmes, Foreman, Lennox, Shavers, Norton, etc. all beat the Klitschkos (and I like the guys)... should I mention Corey Sanders and Lamon Brewster?
Randy scores a quick takedown and then it is nighty night for Toney. I won't last three minutes. Okay maybe a quick leg kick or two then a takedown. It won't be pretty for James.
Decent fight to watch with some great moments. Must respect to Mark Breland, but he needs to go! It did not appear Wilder got any useful in fight advice from him. Also, it seemed clear to me that Wilder's fight IQ is terrible! Next, Fury has got to still be on some kind of stimulant! I cannot believe the the amount of herky jerky obnoxiousness he still had after 12 rounds. Lastly, how in the hell did he get up after a knockdown like that? He was out COLD! The ref would have have right to waive it off the minute Fury lay motionless!
Huge props to Fury for some how finding a way to get up! There is no doubt it would have been a justified stoppage if the ref waves it off immediately. He was OUT COLD!
