Is Floyds power at the higher weights underrated?

Oh well, how accurate is Hopkins? But seriously though, how could a guy throws 50 punches a round while his opponent(s) throws 80 or 100 punches, and he still somehow manages to lands more. Not that many fighters can do that. hopkins can do that. and he's 40+ years old. why is floyd fighting like a 40+ year old? Only to people who don't understand the technical side of boxing. exactly. we all know floyd is a potshotter. so how can anyone underrate something everyone already knows?

He's a potshotter who has outlanding more punches than every opponents he has faced except for the first fight he had against Castillo in which he clearly lost due to an injury earlier in that fight. He doesn't throws that many punches, he still somehow lands more punches than his opponent, that my friend is accuracy. yea its underated, his timing is what gives him this power, hes got one of the best jabs today, stops momentarily even the most agressive fighter with that jab

Floyd has power. But, it's more of a speed + accuracy type of power. He hits you right on the sweet spot, and a lot of the time when you don't see or know when it's coming. It's not prime Tito type of power. But he has pop. In other words, he has sneaky power.

Sometimes it's not about how hard you punch, but where you land that punch. You can throw dozen of punches at a guy's face, and he'll keep coming at you. But if you can land one clean punch at his chin, he'll fall down or weaken. I don't believe in the whole "iron chin" bs, if your body was not made with metal, you can get knockout just like every living person.

Floyd has enough power to demand respect. I don't think he will stop Shane or hurt Shane. I don't think he will take enough risk to do it either.

Floyd Power Underrated??? No. It's the speed and accuracy!!! I see alot of the feather fist stuff. But when I watch his fights I dont see that at all. Floyds shots are so fast and accurate that most of the time they dont see them then he puts a little something behind them as well. At 147 against Judah he landed some of the nastiest and hardest body shots I ever seen him throw. At 147 vs. Hatton. I think it was the 8th round (correct me if Im wrong). But He threw a shot to Hattons stomach made Hatton crouch down then blasted him in the forhead and Hatton was hurt. He also hurt him to the body once then ofcourse the shots that ended the fight. Against Oscar he was nailing him with hard power shots and even buckled his legs. Now with Shane. A guy who Floyd will catch whenever he feels like it. And he punches with his eyes closed on top of that. I see Floyd dropping him a few times. I think your right to a certain extent Floyd's speed, and accuracy is the driver of his KOs. The accumalation of these speedy accurate punches has an affect after many of them strung together. Floyd will most likely land shots on Mosely, however Mosely also took harder punches from other WWs fighters and wasn't "dropped" as you stated. I just don't see Mosely being hurt in this fight. Maybe it's a testament to Mosely's tenacity and grit as oppose to Floyd's power.

I think if PBF sat down or tried to throw harder punches he would hurt his hands which in turn would hurt his chances of winning the fight. You do what you have to do to win the fight and hopefully you can be entertaining while doing that if not so the fvck what.
