I'm in Tennessee and currently getting my feet wet in boxing coverage; but have much more to learn.
I live in Tennesse too, how is boxing doing in this state? I know they have an active arena in Memphis, but I live in Kingsport, are their any arenas at all here?
They gotta keep their heads on strait, stop thinking about this multimillion dollar crap. I mean you can live richly your whole life on 10 million, who in the hell needs 160 million? It is rediculous and is causeing all of our fighters and promoters to lose focus on what really matters.

I also beleive the whole problem lies with the heavyweight division, noone really cares about the smaller divisions, even the middleweights anymore :(
I guess they look at a heavyweight and see him KO some sucker and think to themselves, "Man this guy can really kill people, he would do the same thing to me!" and when they see some little middleweight or welterweight do the same thing they must think, "Bah impressive, but it's just a little guy, he would never be able to take me like that!" which is of course total crap.
And what about this contender bull! Drop that snot and give us the real deal! It is faker than wrestling! :(
Thats smart, legs are usually bigger than arms *Foreman's...lol geez!* and aren't covered at the ankles, I can imagine that screwing up your arms pretty quick and making them numb or breaking them.
I guess this is the same case as when fighters would cover up exposing their elbows to Rocky Marciano and he broke their arms...Stupid people! lol
But how do you keep from getting taken down like what kept happening to the Boxer in this video? If he folded his leg up to take the kick he would have just fell over when the kicker kicked the one leg he was standing on! Freaking pogostick! lol
Here's my arguement against that
Yeah Mirko Cro Cop is a impressive fighter, but those shots look like candy compared to the shots that Cooney landed, he freaking snapped people in half.
I saw Mirko land clean kicks and the guy doesn't flinch, nowhere in Gerry Cooney's (Mind the 12 ounce gloves which saw off alot of the pop!) entire career will you see anything like that, it's either they KO him or he KTFO's them. But yeah Cro Cop would probably beat Cooney 3 out of 5 fights lol...(Bad chin :P)
kicks to the legs, knees to the midsection, and punches upstairs is the best way to go.
Either way, Punches > than Kicks, period!

Kind Arthur Williams (The "Boxer" on the video) Didn't even KO half of the bums that he fought? Stick that Kickboxer in their with a REAL boxer! Get Wlad in their, or Sam Peter, maybee Big George but that's just asking for a ring death.

I don't think that anyone on earth can kick as hard as what Foreman, Shavers, and Cooney can punch.
Just think, the kicks are nothing but raw bone hitting and can't get the type of leverage that a puncher's punches can. The punches that Foreman, Shavers, and Cooney killed people with had 12 ounce gloves wrapped around them...
It always sucks when your hamstrings and quads go numb...so pound them until they lose feeling! (The Bigger your muscles are the less punishment it will take to turn them off!)
True, no need to expose yourself hitting to the body if your body kick is harder and better I guess...Noone can kick to the body like Gerry Cooney can punch to it though...
I saw this one kid at my school that looked IDENTICAL to George Foreman, just take all the black and turn it white! Same height, weight, face(I mean identical! Nose and everything!) But not as isanley muscular(But Big enough!)
