Agree 100%. The dude fight all comers and never lays down. I just hope he stops before he sustains any long lasting damage. The guy is a different breed of fighter for sure.
I remember first time I saw Donaire fight, against Darchinyan. I was like, " I hope he does better against Vic than his brother did." Then he lands that beautiful left hook and Darchinyan didn't know where he was lol. That was freaking 2007, 18 years ago.
It's amazing how Donaire was written off 11 years ago when people were saying he should retire after losing to Rigo and getting knocked out by Walters, but now it's 2025 and he's still fighting at the top level. If you don't respect what he's accomplished than YDKSAB.
Definitely a modern day ATG and future first ballot Hall of Famer.
I'll believe it when I see it. His team will likely low ball AJ and blame him for ducking while he ends up fighting someone like Artem Lobov or some other older, smaller, retired MMA fighter turned bare knuckle boxer.
Floyd trying to act like he forgot Margarito's name, but rants about him for over a minute.
He should only do interviews if the main topic is himself. Floyd has a way to make every question and subject all about him.
I think he beats Kambosos and repeats it if he doesnt move up. His make or break moment comes when he fights Loma. If he could pull off that W then he turns into a phenom in boxing. The kid has a world of ability even though he has no pop. Boxing isnt all about power though and if he can find his place in the sport and stop worrying about the highlight reels he is a tough out IMO
True, I think Haney's skills definitely make up for his lack of power.
I enjoyed his last fight against Diaz.
Horrible singer but nice milkers
Yeah, nice set.
I'm at work so thankfully I had it on mute. If coworkers pass by my computer, I don't mind if they see t1tties, I just don't want them to think I have bad taste in music.
Haney is clearly talented, not much pop, but he's quick and has a good reach.
Kambosos is a make or break fight for him, as far as his future goes. I think he wins a close fight, but Kambosos will really test him and put him out of his comfort zone.
What else is there to do but challenge lists such as this? But this one happens to rank No. 1 on my all-time list of worst lists. Can't explain why, but when I was in the process of scrolling through and saw that James Toney had been selected for an all-time top 50 list, ranked 17 whole spots above Sam Langford and Floyd Patterson placed 24 spots above Willie Pep, I knew instantly that I wanted my 2 minutes back. Why on earth do non-historians attempt these things? We can all take solace in the facts that surgeons and airline pilots, at least; require certification.
I like these kind of lists, but strictly for entertainment.
That's the problem with a "number or point based" ranking system. With boxing, you can't just go off numbers and statistics alone, especially when you consider how different all the eras are from each other. You'll run into a lot of apples to oranges type of situations.
These lists are interesting at best, but I never take them seriously.
The industry heads, the trainers, the fighters all admire the hell out of Canelo and have him in high regard. It just rubs Floyd the wrong way. I see Big Dunn trying to spin stuff like the degenerate liberal that he is but the fact of the matter is Floyd is a very jealous and insecure man. As a fighter he was great, one of my favorite fighters to watch but as a person he has lied, he has made racist comments and he has lost a lot of ugly women to people less successful than him. He's a kukn real life, which to some is alright but he is an all time great in boxing, so just the irony eats at him. His fiancé was banging 50 cent while he was in jail, then the three of them take a picture and he looks like the kuk he is. Then she aborts his babies and runs away with Nello lol. I mean he's been taking losses in his love life left and right. Meanwhile Canelo is macho, big money, big rep, bad women want him, he's excellent at golf, fighters admire, trainers admire him. Nobody will ever dare kuk him lol. Canelo will end up with more money than Floyd and Floyd knows this, that's why he's asking for the Benavidez fight lol. Funny Floyd ran away from Margarito. Floyd always making them brash comments with big security team around him. Back in the day he used to look over his shoulder about anything he said. Floyd's just a miserable human being simple as that.
Man, if Canelo ends up making more money than Floyd, that would just destroy his ego.
It's one thing to say another fighter is greater than Floyd, he's been hearing that all the time and he just disregards it since it's really all just opinions at the end of the day. But if another fighter ends up with more money than Money Mayweather? Not sure how he'd handle that. He might come out of retirement at age 50 if that happens.
You would have to give Teo every benefit of the doubt to give him a decision.
Kambosos outworked him. From the opening bell, you could see Lopez had little respect and tried to end Kambosos early. Kambosos took all of Lopez's power and landed a harded shot of his own to drop him.
Problem is when Lopez landed and saw Kambosos still standing, he had no plan B. He clearly took him lightly and thought it was going to be an easy night.
With the right gameplan Lopez could have won, I could also see him winning a rematch but his ego won't take the rematch, nor will he fire his idiot dad and get with a real trainer/boxing team.
His dad's best advice was "go f**k him up this next round! Why haven't you finished him yet?"
He's almost a bigger idiot than Amanda Serrano's trainer.
De La Hoya is pushing 50. He was just in a hospital bed when he had Covid, he likely never even had it and was just faking it, but you get the point.
You're either trolling, or you're a grown ass man that watches too many Disney movies.
Porter isn't shot.
HOWEVER...he caught COVID.
So...if Bud gets taken the distance...then he couldn't stop a COVID patient with compromised lung capacity.
Fair?
Porter is pretty damn durable though. Crawford can still win convincingly if it goes the distance, but if he struggles and only wins like a 115-113 decision that really says a lot about the hype he was receiving.
No.
They will just say that Porter is shot.......
This.
Or if it goes 12, they'll say Crawford couldn't stop a shot fighter.
I've criticized Crawford before, but this is a good fight and a good test for Crawford. His reputation has been built on "the eye test" for so long, now he'll finally get tested by a real one.
You have to generate excitement in or out of the ring, Ward was boring in the ring and had no personality outside of the ring.
People like KOs. And if a fighter doesn't have an exciting style for the casuals, then he needs to be able to talk and sell himself.
Being an American doesn't make you an automatic draw like being from other countries.
