Many fans weighed in, sharing the same sentiment about the quality of that fight. That is how this started. It absolutely was a response to a question. Now the part about him beating canelo- yeah probably unnecessary. But it got attention and allowed Floyd to pivot to talking about his fight. I get your point. I don’t agree. I also think too many times things are forced into a narrative so fans can criticize Floyd about something. I got you bro. It's because he want some shine for his own fighters for a change that's all. He gets so sick and Goddamned tired of one of his former bitches stealing the spotlight from all these other young and undefeated fighters he's avoiding when he's really not that good. If a 36 year old former 125 lbs Featherweight can beat him then anybody can if giving the right opportunity and therein lies the problem.
