GGG, Wladimir Klitschko, Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather, Gillermo Rigondeaux, Vasyl Lomachenko comes at the top of my head.
Golovkin controlled distance very well against Lemieux.
Seriously? Khan makes so many technical flaws Floyd would school him charter style. He would be alright for about a round and then the ass whooping begins.
That's how I see it. Khan has poor defense, and Floyd is accurate.
I live in Metro-Detroit where there is a huge Muslim population (30%), did you know almost every single house and cafe had that fight on, and he has more twitter followers than Canelo, Golovkin, and Ward combined
Twitter followers are casual fans.
I think Khan is the only fighter at welterweight that can beat Mayweather, I'm not saying he would but style wise it would be his toughest fight, being a huge Mayweather fan I never understood why he never fought Khan, esp for his final fight, the fight would have sold big (we all saw the #'s for the Canelo fight, Canelo brings 300K when he fights unknowns, but the Khan fight doubled that), Mayweather-Khan would have brought in at least 1.4M PPV's, and maybe even hit the 2M mark, I think Khan would clean out the first 5 rounds, and then Mayweather knocks him out with a left hook in around round 9
Khan's not a big draw. Don't be fooled.
Stevenson really did half the job for Brown... William's mind was still shaky...
Brown is destroyed by Adonis sooner or later...
I wanna see Browne-Smith Jr.
This is nothing new, he comes in wild and gets dropped most every fight. He was down hard vs Cornelius white, some old slow glass chin Cuban, and then hurt pretty bad vs ERod.
You mean Umberto Savigne?
yet he somehow beat edwin rodriguez who was lineal light heavyweight champ at one point. what a world.
Lineal is overrated. Holmes won the lineal championship by beating up an old, Parkinson's-riddled Ali.
I always thought Khan's style (pitty pat, then clinch or run) would create problems for Mayweather. I wouldn't have been surprised if he stole enough rounds from the older version of Mayweather.
Who would you favor?
I love that Khan says he fought Judah and Garcia because they were his mandatories, errrr not they weren't. Both of those guys had belts, Judah the IBF and Garcia the WBC so they were absolutely not his mandatories.
I agree with another poster on here, Khan should retire, he hasn't improved since the Judah fight, that was his peak and he's done now. Might as well cash out against Brook and jack it in.
Khan is completely delusional of how good he is. He thinks he's a top 10 P4P fighter when in reality, he's B-level AT BEST.
His stamina was impressive, as well as his chin, the loaded gloves are going to follow him forever.
He had stamina and a chin, but that's about all he had going for him.
Erislandy Lara, Miguel Cotto 2006-2008, Antonio Margarito 2007-2008, Paul Williams, Ricky Hatton at 140, Manny Pacquiao 2009-2010, but nope. He had to "retire" for two years.
There is a reason Mayweather said "We are not fighting to prove who's the best" When he got confronted by Margarito.
LOL @ Hatton at 140 beating Floyd. Floyd would destroy him.
Get out of here my friend lol. Anyone that posts regularly knows that you are the biggest Imam fan here. You had him beating Crawford and Postol before he got iced. Probably still do.
What's he gonna say when Crawford brutally stops Imam?
Ha!
Why?
Have the laws of physics changed?
How many of today's top 15 HW's are as fast as what Jack was?
I know you're slow, so I'll explain it to you: People are faster today than they were in Dempsey's time.
These threads are always cringe worthy. Some sig worthy material here though: "people are faster now"... REally? So genetically our autonomic nervous system has changed huh?
Um, yes, people are faster today. Just compare the Gold Medalist in the Men's Marathon in the 1924 Olympics to the Gold Medalist in the 2016 Olympics.
Ray Arcel says Dempsey would have beaten Ali (but not Louis). Emanuel Steward said Dempsey was overrated and was more of a sensation than a truly great fighter. I think it's fair to say that there's room for disagreement on this matter.
Ali would beat Dempsey. He's too big and fast for him.
He was too scared to even face a shot Tyson so what makes you think he would go anywhere near a prime tyson? Lol
He could have faced Tyson after the Ruiz fight but he punked out.
He didn't even want to fight an old Douglas who just woke up from a diabetic coma.
