This thread right here convinced me that I am surrounded by idiots and that pac fans are probably the most ignorant fans in sports.

theyre also convinced that they know sh1t about boxing when it's clear as day than Lomachenko is a superior boxer to Pacquiao in every way. They do not belong in the same category and should never be mentioned in the same sentence.
All you people need to kill yourself be watch another sport.

All you people need to kill yourself be watch another sport.Shot and killed because they like a boxer you don't like? That's a little extreme. I thought Pacquiao was a great fighter and still is a damn good fighter. Right now I agree that Loma is better than Pacquiao and has a great future. Try to remember Pacquiao is 37 and Loma is 28.That has a lot to do with Loma's superiority over Pacquiao.
Their footwork is different. Lomachenko is quick, but he's also in balance. You can predict his movements because they're graceful and in sync.
Pacquaio is more chaotic and faster. He's all instinct. Guys that fight him find themselves overwhelmed by the cheer chaos that surrounds him. They can't think and react as fast.
Pacquaio's style means that he'll lose more throughout his career because he's susceptible to miscalculations or misjudgments. Lomachenko is more like Floyd - he's more patient and in balance, he's less likely to lose in his career.
to the casual fan i can see how it would appear that way. if you know boxing you can see the sophistication in lomas footwork is far beyond that of pac, but if you dont know boxing its just two guys bouncing around a lot.
pac has great footspeed, probably better than loma acctually. but he is all over the place. he only has a few favourite steps and pivots and a lot of his movement is random. he is often running straight in, or leaping in without his legs under him too.
lomachenko very seldom gets off balance, unlike pac. his foot placement is far superior too, he moves very deliberately, yet instinctively at the same time. its truly an act of pugilistic poetry. he has a much broader understanding of distance and angles than pac, entirely different degree of craft tbh.
this is not knocking pacquiao, despite his technical shortcomings his footwork is still great just based on speed and intensity alone. its loma who is phenomenal, his movement is almost like a hybrid of rigos technical proficiency and craft with pacquiaos intensity and workrate. not as good as either of them in those areas alone, but the mixture makes it simply astonishing.
Obviously, Lomachenko's footwork is ten times better. Since childhood, Loma was taking dance, gymnastics and ballet classes, in other words he was developing and perfectioning his footwork on purpose, that was a preparation for amateur boxing. His whole boxing style relies on the footwork - and that's what helped him to achieve one of the greatest, if not the greatest, resumes in amateurs. Pacquiao is more accomplished as a pro fighter and that's really it
Loma indeed has superior footwork, idk why it's hard to see or comprehend. Pac is living legend and is (or was) better in many other departments (punching power, speed, he is punching angles are crazy etc), but Loma gets much more from his footwork than Pac. Rigo has superior footwork than Pac also, I don't think it makes Manny look weaker or worse.
Maybe you should go to a birthday party, I heard they are hiring clowns this week, the pay is high, they need Hobos like you for a late replacement.
Idiot. There is nothing in Lomachenko's footwork that Pacquiao hadn't done you pig headed moron.
The dumbass tribal casual rears its ugly head.
