Canelo fans said that if Benavidez and Andrade wanted a shot, they should stop calling out Canelo and fight each other. So they did, but then Canelo ducked anyway and his fans defended him.
Now you're using the exact same routine with Crawford and Mbilli "if they face each other, for sure Canelo will face the winner" even though Canelo didn't do that the last time his fans used that line.
I know you Canelo fans have to keep swallowing shit and pretending it tastes good, but you can't expect us sane people to do the same. You guys already told us that Canelo calls the shots and fights who he wants, so don't pretend like he wants tougher fights. Nobody is going to 'earn' a Canelo shot because the more you achieve, the less willing he is to fight you. His fans know this and even celebrate it.
This is a big reason why most people dont like Haney, Shakur and Stank. They act like total pieces of **** in public. Shakur beats up civilians, Haney does too. Tank beats up his gf.
You wouldn't catch Loma, Usyk or Inoue doing **** like this.
Boxers should keep their hands to themselves. But this incident with Haney only just happened. How can it be part of why people didn't like him in the past?
Canelo attacked and busted up flyweight Solis in the street. Hardly anyone cared, didn't stop him being a big star.
He has a belt but doesn't draw a crowd. So most of his worth is dictated by how much somebody wants his belt. Hearn offered a high amount because Ennis wanted a way out of the pointless Karen rematch. But the 2 PBC fighters don't have that issue, and even if they did they could face each other. So PBC aren't likely to offer Norman anywhere near as much.
Teo will probably move up before long. My guess is TR told Norman that if he turned down Hearn's offer, they'd give him a similar payday vs Teo.
Hearn/Ennis already dictated their price. $1.7 million. Take it or leave it. That's how much they want the belt. What now? What would you do if you were in Norman's shoes?
If he can get 1.5 or more to face Teo, that's the smart move. Teo is smaller and likely easier. If not then he should've accepted the Ennis fight imo.
Ennis would be a big favourite. But he can be hit, and Norman can punch. So it's not an unwinnable fight. Plus I expect after the fight Ennis will vacate and move up to 154 to chase bigger names. So Norman could end up fighting for a vacant belt soon afterwards even if he loses.
I think Ennis would get hit a lot more than before, but he fights like he has that dog in him so I think he could eventually wear down Madrimov or at least grind out a tough decision. Difficult to say as neither have taken much damage in the past or been pushed to their physical limit. I felt Madrimov should've pushed harder vs Bud. He had a good gameplan and it almost worked, but at some point should've stepped up the intensity. Hard fight to call.
One cherry pick after another and they keep on taking him the distance. I wonder if he'll respond by facing even weaker opponents. Unless he faces another Yildirim I doubt he ever scores a KO again.
Canelo got schooled by Bivol, he had a rematch clause but was too scared to activate it. He waved his white flag. No reason he should get a shot now. Benavidez, Morrell and possibly Beterbiev rematch would be higher priority.
We know from when Canelo fought Floyd, Golovkin the first time, and Bivol, that he just accepts being schooled and doesn't push hard to turn things around. He lost all 3 of those fights wide and just took it for 12 rounds hoping his paid off judges would bail him out. It was boring and repetitive and would be the same in a rematch.
Hey new fan, welcome to the sport. I will help you out.
Boxrec is a pretty good site, but the problem is they only count fights that happened in reality. Fantasy is where it's at. Wilder would've KTFO Wlad (if somebody says that Wilder avoided Wlad, or that Wlad KTFO Wilder in sparring, they're just trolling) he would've KTFO AJ, but AJ ducked (don't listen to fake news of a 100M offer) and he would've beaten Fury if not for a slow count, egg weights and a heavy outfit. I hear that Usyk recently ducked Wilder using the excuse that he's lost 4 of his last 5 fights. Pathetic.
Wilder knocked out some of the best journeymen Alabama has ever seen. So we know he hits hard to enough to knock out anyone.
So DL Santos is out, Shakur is out, Pitbull is out, who else is there for Tank to fight next? How about Valenzuela at which weight, do you think?
I read that Loma wanted to delay the fight? If that's that true and Tank can get the contract set now, maybe he should wait on Loma. But if Loma and the other guys you mentioned are off the table Berinchyk, Zepeda, Muratalia would be better choices. Could the promoters don't want to work together though.
Valenzuela would be a solid opponent, my guess is he would come down to 135 because it's a good payday, probably more than he'd get for unifying at 140.
Uh oh, we know Karen's are dangerous when they're out for revenge. This could be good.
Yeah this is a real grudge match. Apparently Boots' kids were selling lemonade and Karen called the cops on them.
Looking at his record it looked like he was just a guy with a lot of Knockouts against nobody's. Man did he prove me wrong. :boxing:
Looking now, his 2 defeats were both split decisions. For sure he's better than his record suggests.
I got you bro, what's the purpose of using the wrist is it to ensure more surface area is hitting the opponent? I've seen beterbiev doing some crazy press ups using his wrists with hands bent etc they must be strong as hell I'll try and find a vid
Here found one video it's wild https://www.tiktok.com/@boxingscience/video/7323247755286269216
Pretty sure my wrists would just snap and make horrible crunching noises if I tried that.
They are pretty different all things considered.
Haney=no power even at 135 Broner= hit hard at 130-135
Haney=fast feet Broner=slow feet
Haney=questionable chin Broner=strong chin
Haney=not a draw Broner=was always a draw
Fight night will begin in about an hour, June 15 at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT.

Dude is going to have problems down the line if this level of fighter is able to get in his head like that. Maybe a learning experience though.
The rules should be changed so that fighters have a DQ loss in cases like this. If you get caught cheating by the ref during the fight, he wouldn't declare it a NC, he'd disqualify you, so it should be the same when caught cheating afterwards. We know he had it in his system for the fight. I'd give a longer ban, though this is better than the 6 months I expected him to get.
