he is comparing Ali and Floyd by what they did/doing in the ring and the similarity on how they adapted in their style to suit their age/lack of speed
not what they did in their personal life..

As an addition, though, I do think that Canelo should have tried to drown Shane with activity.
I hate when a young guy has an older fighter in front of him and does NOT set a pace that the old guy can't keep.

i really thought the fight was gonna turn out like oritz, where Mayweather Right hand couldnt miss.
after seeing the fight. i think it should of looked like Canelo vs Mayweather, since it seemed like Pac had the same game plan. the counter punching seemed to have stopped Manny aggression tho

can make a gif of the start of round 11 where Floyd came out swinging at the start of the bell. that was really fun to watch.
also pac landed a good body shot later after that(around 2:36 of the round)
From what i remember Floyd hit Manny with some great shots in round 11, but watching this without the atmosphere, the commentary and occasion, it only looks like he connects with the short left at the end.
The first right, Manny seems to block with his glove, Floyd swung with lots of venom, so it still jolted his head. could be wrong...
The second right is a cuffing shot which wraps the back of his head.
And the left catches him on the chin.
yeah you're right. just wanted it cause i really stood up from my chair watching this live. I didnt expect Mayweather to come out looking to knock him out.

not a fully fair fight. Both guys are very close to equal terms but SRL & Hearns were huge WW's or almost 154 pounders fighting at WW which is there very 1st divsion while Floyd is an extremely small WW who is in his 4th weight class. The better comparison is in a P4P sense where it would be a WW SRL vs a SFW Mayweather

i think its his fist thats the problem. i wonder if he's really going to fight in september after hurting it again, i thought that was part of the reason why he only fought once a year
was really impressed with how he showed off his footwork at the end of the fight tho
tbh i dont think its a race thing
but more of how the trainer of that culture/country trains there fighter
e.g if a mexican fighter was trained in the U.S he will be more of a boxer than a fighter, vice versa.
but that's just my opinion
gave cotto 2-4 it was great fight
cotto might not have won the fight but he was in it
most of the guys on boxingscene was giving cotto the same treatment jmm got before the pacvsjmm3 fight.
Mayweather was just too c0cky going into this fight
i think he truely did believe he was invincible before this fight and so did everyone else
