I know Joe didn't take too kindly to how Muhammad Ali treated him whenever in front of the camera. He took a lot of what Ali said to heart but, even after retirement they were together on many talk shows and so on, talking, having a laugh etc. So after this moment how and when did Joe get that bug back for Ali? I always felt it was during their fighting days and continued till Joe's passing. Khan's pace would be too much for Brook. He tired very quickly against Jones at a pace nowhere near Khans. He's too open with a shoddy defence. His worst nightmare would be a fast fighter. Khan stops him.

The Peterson issue came out 10 days before the scheduled fight and Khan would have been more or less at the peak of his training. Now he gets 2 weeks (approx) for rest before he starts his camp for the next fight. Could him being at his peak now result in him being over trained for the next bout?0

If Bradley pulls off the upset, there is no doubt in my mind that he faces Marquez after. How does this bout play out?

Haye threw his right hand while holding the bottle. What we seen in the video is the beer flying everywhere as it has no top on it. No sound. No commentary and no crowd influence. On the night of the fight, I had Peterson winning the fight. I didn't score it but felt it. Some rounds were really close and could have gone either way. It depends on what you were looking for I guess. Here's my scorecard: Khan-Peterson Round 1: 10-8 Round 2: 9-10 (IMO, Peterson did enough at the end to take it, but just) Round 3: 9-10 Round 4: 9-10 Round 5: 10-9 (Khan starts to box more from the outside) Round 6: 10-9 Round 7: 8-10 (Point deduction) Round 8: 9-10 Round 9: 10-9 (Very close round, gave to Khan because he hurt Peterson) Round 10: 10-9 Round 11: 10-9 Round 12: 9-9 (Point deduction but Khan did enough work to make it a 9-9 round) Final score: 113-112 to Khan Many may disagree with this card but it's what I saw after re-watching the fight. Like I said before, I had Khan losing on the night itself. All in all it was a great fight. Would love to see a rematch (whenever it happens). Khan seriously needs to work on his inside game though. He has really good bodyshots but doesn't use them as much as he should. Nodding his head during the time a good inside fighter is in you face is ridiculous. He is one-dimensional. Peterson on the other hand fought the perfect fight but I feel he layed off the pedal down the stretch. Round 9 onwards he decreased his output significantly and it lost him the fight.

I think Khan would defeat Mike Jones and quite easily too. I would love to see the bout at 147 by summer 2012. It would be a good win for Khan as a debut fight at the weight also. Whatchu think?

Firstly, I have wanted Cotto to whoop Margarito since their fight in 2008. Also, if you check my bets thread, I was waging on Cotto winning this bout. I am very happy for Miguel and happy for myself as a fan that Cotto defeated Margarito today but... ... It is obvious that Margarito's eye played a huge factor in this fight. If Margarito had 2 perfectly fine working eyes, would he have been more successful in his aggression? 1. His eyes started to close from the second round. 2. His vision obviously was gradually impaired enough not to see shots coming 3. I would have been harder for him to hit a target he couldn't see Or was this all dependant on whether Marg could still 'punch' with no plaster in his hands?

They make 3-4 articles out of each interview on boxingscene whether it's Floyds, Manny's or Khan's statements. You'd have to be the dumbest mofvcker on the planet to think Khan just walk's into places and speaks of nothing but Floyd. Yes, he said he will but I think that was just another tactic to get more people (especially his fans) to buy the fight. Yes, it was BS and yes, he lied. But he's still young and has a lot of talent. I do not think he should retire. There's some good fights at heavyweight that can be made. He should get another trainer and work on a few things. What do you guys think?
