Haye threw his right hand while holding the bottle. What we seen in the video is the beer flying everywhere as it has no top on it. The picture below shows that a punch was landed as Haye held the bottle.

David Haye is a joke. Dont get it twisted, I am no fan but people are getting carried away with this shiz too. You can deny it all you want but if Haye didn't throw a show, he would have got hit/spat at by Chisora.
Chisora has threatened to do so for the past few weeks.
PS: If you get bottled in the face, you get bust up. I dont see any blood on Chisora's face. Chisora felt Haye tried to bottle (glass) him as he had it in his hand when he threw the punch.
This.
Haye made the right move.
What people have an issue with here, I believe, is that both are professional fighters and represent the sport of boxing. Such antics are not a good look for the sport and rightly so. But, you have to look at the situation also.
They are not in the ring, one has the urge to threaten another with violence for many weeks... Walks upto that person (removing jacket) and then expects shiz not to go down?
Those were street tactics by Chisora and he got played!
Haye did the RIGHT thing.
No we don't! I don't watch Jersey Shore and don't intend to start.
haye looks like a p*ssy. i could care less if the bottle broke, the point is he swung with a bottle in his hand & then ran to get another object. the guy was in FULL fear for his life mode LOLOL
chisora punked vitali wlad & now haye has pissed his paints in fear...........hahahahaha i love it.
I don't even think YOU believe that...
I doubt Haye was drinking alchohol it was probably a plastic lemonade bottle, Hayes hand and chisoras head would of been pissing blood if it was glass surley?
haye is an ass but what was he supposed to do wait for chisora to spit on him or slap him or something? That was clearly what chisora had in mind since he said as much only seconds before ('I'll give him two slaps for that' then he gets up and rolls down to him entourage in tow) For once chisora got nailed BEFORE he pulled his ****. You can't go around spitting and slapping people and then expect to charge up to someone like david haye having just threatened to do the same again and not have him start throwing at you ... if it was a choice between either battering the guy or letting him slap/spit on you most people would start throwing.
yeah and Haye is the genius who backed off, grabbed a tripod and swung it around like a fool hitting his own manager then ran off saying "I don't want to lose my license."
If I had more than one person after me (in this case 3), I would have grabbed the nearest thing to me too, just to even things up on the playing field. Clearly by his quote, he too realised things were getting way, way over the top and he might not get a license again to fight. That is all that quote shows.
He did what he felt was necessary considering Chisora's previous antics.

That's understandable, a few months back I had a brawl with some bouncer after he grabbed one of my friends (woman) in a head lock. When people got in the way I tried whacking him in the head with a stool without thinking that I could walk away at that point.
When you're in danger, your instincts kick in, adrenaline rush/fight or flight. When the danger is over it generally takes a while to process.

I never said Haye acted in the proper fashion.
I said he was right to put a right hand on Chisora before he tried yet another scumbag move, which would have made him 3-for-3 over the weekend in classless moves on another fighter. The tripod thing was also a joke, punching him was not.
The bottle didn't come into play, if anything it kept Haye's hand from being fully closed and could have prevented Chisora going to sleep.
Chisora is an idiot who would have no doubt pulled something at that moment, Haye simply smacked him before he got a chance.
you clowns need to shut the **** up if you're gonna bash haye. david gave chisora some of his own medicine, thats karma for that piece of ****. he walked up to david haye, he basically challenged him to a fight, he told his own trainer or whatever the **** that idiot next to him is to stay back, he took off his own jacket. and on top of all that he already hit klitschko a couple days before with no warning. of course he was gonna attack haye as well. haye did what he had to do. chisora walked up to him and was gonna attack him, and haye landed the first punch. tough luck you fat sack of ****, thats what you deserve. props to david for doing what he had to do not only to protect himself but to show that low life piece of **** chisora that he doesn't own the planet. he got humbled, plain and simple.
by the way i love how chisora told his trainer to stay back like he was gonna kill haye

YO DAWG STAY BACK IMMA HANDLE THIS **** RIGHT NAH! OH ****TT IM GETTIN ****ED UP SOMEBODY GET HIM OFF MEEE ****KKK!!! IMMA SHOOT HIM WHEN I SEE HIM!!:rofl:
**** that punk
He punched him in. Second time I've said this before but people will only see what they want to see, if you hit someone with a bottle you don't make that kind of motion, there's a risk that you will hurt yourself and there is a risk that the bottle will fall out of your hand.
The bottle was in his hand because he instinctively punched him, he more than likely didn't think to drop what was in his hand at that moment in time. If Chisora was glassed he would have a gash wound.
Even if Haye glassed Chisora I wouldn't have a problem so it is not like my statements are motivated by bias. You carry yourself like a thug, then step into someone's space suffer the consequences.
As far as I'm concerned Chisora was the one who looked like a punk, you go around throwing slaps, spitting on people but then cry dozens ''He glassed me, he glassed me'' compare his reaction to Booth who actually had an open gash on his head.
Chisora is nothing more than a bully who acts the way he does because he knows he can get away with it. He knew Wlad would not want to jeoparadise his brother's fight so he took the opportunity to spit in his face, he knew at the press conference security would get in the way so he took the opportunity to slap Vitali in the face. He's a low life prick.
This.......
Glad to see Haye gettin his balls back!!!
I thought Chisora had it comming and i dont feel all that bad to be honest. I dont think haye ment to smash his face with a bottle or else chisora head would look like ground hamburger right now .... chisora just got punched in the face .... which is fine by me lol hhahaha

Chisora got a bottle to his head end of story.
PS props to Haye for not waiting for that fool to do something first.
LOL No **** huh...I was just about to say, David did the right thing...You dont let chisora run up on you like that...he is a nutcase
I don't see how it's a punk move by Haye. Was he suppose to just stand there and wait for Chisora to do another one of his crazy antics? Chisora was walking towards Haye in fight mode, taking off his jacket, with a few of his boys behind him ready to start some ish. It was gonna go down regardless, Chisora is just upset Haye out did him at his own game and did the first move. Anybody with a little bit of street smarts know that you always have to make the first move.
This.

How about they are both idiots?
Chisora is a punk, I don't even condemn the weigh in slap that much - I mean really, is that how sensitive we've become? A little bit of banter at the weigh is fun and a slap is not that physical... Where he lost it for me was spitting at Wladimir before the fight, that is just low and disgusting and a poor shot at getting into Vitali's head and/or provoking Wlad to the point that he attacks him before the fight, allowing him to back out and make more money.
That does not excuse Haye at all. How pathetic for him to continue his rants even after the poor display against Wlad. He has no point whatsoever in still talking himself into another Klitschko-fights (get some wins before that) and calling people out at their own fights and press conferences.
And last but not least, I don't care if he hit him with the bottle or not, how stupid is it to hit with a bottle in your hand, whether you wanna use it or not. Drop it or put it in your other hand, but not make a fist around a freaking bottle, you are bound to hurt someone with it.
TL;DR: Both idiots. But the fight would definitely sell extremely well in England now.
