Damn 2 years inactive and then world title shot is anybody really supporting this. Its a shame whats happened to US boxing for so long being the Beacon with some of the greatest Champions ever.
How is Stiverne rated more than Whyte, Breazedale, Haye, Price etc the guy has not fought for 2 years. I dont see why he does not take the Whyte fight which by most peoples mind on this site would be an easy fight with his biggest payday.
I hear you ashadam, Stiverne had his chance. I believe Wilder's top fights have waited or marinated long enough...Wilder lost out on Klitchsko fight by waiting
Wonder if Wilder's going to break his hand again. Wilder wins by decision if hands stay strong maybe a KO...I want to see Stiverne in top form but 2 years inactive and that lackluster performance gives me no confidence in him.
Yes they both were throwing but that does not change the fact it all came after the bell. NSAC official unfortunately listened to some guy in the broadcast trailer.
I mean there's no question Loma dominated the fight, but Rigo is by far the much smaller man and it takes two to clinch. Almost every single clinch was a CLEAN clinch. It's the referee's job to break them up. Not say "Fight out hands free" when 4 arms are locked across two bodies, no sh*t the MUCH larger man in Loma is going to have the advantage in that scenario.
Not only that, then Loma clearly hit Rigo like 10 seconds after the bell sounded in one of the rounds with a clean punch right in the referee's face and the referee didn't say anything. The immediate next round, a clinch is initiated and the ref doesn't break them, then when Loma manhandles Rigo to break free to do the referee's job for him - the referee decides to pull Rigondeaux aside and take a point. The refereeing in that fight was absolutely abysmal, there was literally nothing Rigo could do.
I don't know about his hand but I barely saw him use it and that is definitely his money punch, so if there is any indicator something was wrong with it that would be it.
I'm not sure you watched this fight. Almost sounds like you heard this 2nd hand.
Finally got to see a good copy. Great fight by both.
Spence did great work high...great work low!! Acted with honor after the fight.
Brook fought well. Brook has bad luck with the injuries.
I see Connor trying weird sucker moves, from far away of course but I see him doing the hands behind the back and low crab with a big swinging right hand, all trying to bait Floyd onto something.
Connor is a counter puncher and I can see him trying to draw Floyd onto something, I see Floyd wanting to fight close where he will destroy Connor to the body.
Floyd is nowhere near his best or as fast as he was so I see him wanting the fight close range where his inside fighting will nullify Connors range and also chop him down.
Floyd will punish the body in this.
I believe this is a very reasonable prediction to make. It supports my theory on how the fight will end, which is the fight being called in between rounds due to punishment = Mayweather wins
