Yeah I knew this would be a lot tougher fight than most people thought. VElazquez is hungry for recognition.
WTF ??? HBO scored the 2nd round for Velazquez again accdg to the official boxingscene rd by rd coverage ???
They changed it and score the 2nd for manny.
You guys nailed the tail on the donkey. Floyd Mayweather doesn't want any tough fight. He's a coward. All he's done in his career was duck the best in every division. He doesn't like tough fights
WOW. You cant make accusations like that and not back it up with some proof..
Heres an update from RABBITPUNCH
"For all the people who doubt that a Judah-Mayweather fight is done, have no fear, it's still going to happen. Both Zab Judah and Floyd Mayweather agreed to terms & their individual purses when we first reported this story on August 12th however Zab Judah and Don King learned that Floyd is going to make $6 million while Zab will only make about $1.5 million and wanted to negotiate further. We have been told by a high ranking official in Top Rank that he expects this to be worked out this week and an "official" announcement to come shortly."
LMAO...Ill believe that when I see it....lol...notgonnahapn...
I reckon Floyd needs to be thinking about the 140lbs division before talking about moving up too 147lbs.
AAAMMMEEEEEN. Someone finally said it...Thank YOU...
i think floyd vs zab is about to happen soon, floyed cant afford to stop he has to take on every thing that comes his way.
Hhmm. Interesting. You may not understand the BUSINESS and POLITICS of boxing then....That fight wont happen anytime soon...
He actually boxed which is something I dont think Id ever said about him and did good.
But the old Vargas would have KOd this bum a long time ago. He seemed to lose his aggression too.
  . Youve must have only seen Vargas fight Oscar and Felix. He IS a boxer. And a pretty good one. IMO, he hasnt mentally come back from being KO'ed on a grand stage....Those KO's will haunt him for a long time..I..M..O...
that guy in ur signature looks like a bum..i think mayweather is getting tired of ZAB keep calling him out in every interview
Yeah. People are forgetting that Zab is out their "grass roots style" talking about fight PBF. You dont hear about THOSE interviews on mainstream (I consider BT mainstream). Zab has done 4 or 5 underground interviews where he is talking about PBF. At first PBF probably thought it was hype. Which he agrees should happen, but when one goes to far as apparently ZAB did. PBF launched back. Thats why I dont think its hype anymore.
Floyd will beat Cotto to a bloody pulp now, in a year or two Cotto will give Floyd hell. Lets be real though Floyd would be a huge step up for Cotto and he would be eating punches all night. I think Hatton VS Floyd would be close but the difference here is defense, Hatton comes in to wide open.
That wont even matter though. If Hatton walked through Tszyus sledgehammers then PBF wont matter. The way PBF stops Hatton is to outwork him, which is a tall order..
Having said that. If Lacy becomes more disciplined in throwing his power punches he will beat Calzaghe by stoppage. If he fights JC like he did Lacy, he'll get KO'ed....
nyahahahahahahahahaha! tis jest means what a great fighta Tayler really is. Despite his performance of beating Bernard, he still thinks he can do alot betta. And I agree. Tayler will stop Hop in the rematch. Let's do tis Jermain!
But you still have Bhop quite a few spots above JT in YOUR P4P top 10.....lol
Where do Hopkins and Taylor go on your lists after Saturday night's fight? Who is your P4P King? Let's see some new & improved lists!!!
1. Mayweather (I had him #1 before the Gatti fight, & Bernard's loss should put Floyd at the top all by himself...STILL the most gifted and talented prizefighter on the planet)
2. Winky (has every tool under the sun, aside from a dynamite punch & a big fan following)
3. Barrera (I'm biased, I've been his biggest fan since the good ole days of Fight Night at the Forum)
4. Morales (maybe the most willing prizefighter of our generation, many guys say that they take on all-comers, Morales actually backs it up)
5. Taylor (I believe that beating the #1-2 guy on most lists warrants a top 5 ranking, dontya think?)
6. B-Hop (still a legend, but not nearly as invincible any longer)
7. Hatton (ruthless style makes for fun fights)
8. Judah (still improving, which is scary for his opponents, somebody please reserve Mitchell a room at the ER for after the fight)
9. Chico (deserves big $$$ for the Castillo rematch, and he's gonna get it!)
10A. Castillo (another cat who takes on all comers and kicks a lot of a$$)
11. JM Marquez (will drop from the top 12 if he fights any more stiffs)
12. Raf Marquez (see #11)
others: Lacy, Tarver, Mormeck, Margarito, Harrison, Calderon
LOL...Isnt this G. Leon list??
3) Ricky Hatton (convincing win over a top 3 p4p guy gets you top 5 imo)
4) Jermain Taylor (see comments on Hatton)
5) Bernard Hopkins (fight was close, can't knock him out of top five just yet)
This makes no sense. JT is #4 and you say see comments on Hatton. Comments on Hatton say beat a top 3 p4p convincingly. Then Bhop is #5 and you say fight was close...which is it?? Convincingly or close?
haha, Rjj is gonna knock him silly...the stupid thing though is that even if Rjj does KO him or beat him with a wide decision these Roy Haters will make an excuse that Tarver sucks and all this shit...sad.
Tarver does suck. His career resembles Roy Jones (meaning he hasnt fought anybody). His big wins come off an overrated RJJ and a pitter pat UD over a c-level fighter in Johnson..lol
Ive said that for a long time. He's not good..
man is a bum fight. Why is Zab taking lower caliber opponents. This is a great opportunity for Sharmba but...for Zab?? High risk low reward deal here. Booooooo.
