Where do Hopkins and Taylor go on your lists after Saturday night's fight? Who is your P4P King? Let's see some new & improved lists!!!
1. Mayweather (I had him #1 before the Gatti fight, & Bernard's loss should put Floyd at the top all by himself...STILL the most gifted and talented prizefighter on the planet)
2. Winky (has every tool under the sun, aside from a dynamite punch & a big fan following)
3. Barrera (I'm biased, I've been his biggest fan since the good ole days of Fight Night at the Forum)
4. Morales (maybe the most willing prizefighter of our generation, many guys say that they take on all-comers, Morales actually backs it up)
5. Taylor (I believe that beating the #1-2 guy on most lists warrants a top 5 ranking, dontya think?)
6. B-Hop (still a legend, but not nearly as invincible any longer)
7. Hatton (ruthless style makes for fun fights)
8. Judah (still improving, which is scary for his opponents, somebody please reserve Mitchell a room at the ER for after the fight)
9. Chico (deserves big $$$ for the Castillo rematch, and he's gonna get it!)
10A. Castillo (another cat who takes on all comers and kicks a lot of a$$)
11. JM Marquez (will drop from the top 12 if he fights any more stiffs)
12. Raf Marquez (see #11)
others: Lacy, Tarver, Mormeck, Margarito, Harrison, Calderon
Then you should also remove Barrera,Because he was badly beaten by PAC. P4P should measure the strength, skills , warrior spirit , fighting style and the credibility of the fighter he fought.
I have to take issue with your rankings.
1) Pac is no way a top 10 at the moment - sorry end of
2) I love Hatton but I would have him at 4, move Barrera up to 3
3) you have to have Corrales above Judah at the moment - fine if he loses to Castillo but now he's above Judah.
4) in order to replace Pac you should bring in R. Marquez
Actually as I write this I realise how picky I'm being its not a bad list but you can't have Pac in their - very overated.
He has been actively fighting very good fighters, Mayweather has not been fighting anyone worth noting, for a long time a really long time
You think Gatti is good?
I bet you used to believe Hamed was #1 p4p because commercialization and a undefeated record at one point
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Corley was a damn good fight for Mayweather.
Gatti
Corley
Sosa
Castillo x 2
Chavez
Corrales
Augustus
Manfredy
Hernandez
In a span of 4 years Mayweather fought Gatti,Corley,Sosa, Castillo, Chavez. All notable fighters (I left out his warm ups)...Mayweather has had tough fight after tough fight.
dont be stupid, mayweather dominated corrales, defeated castillo twice, the moved up in weight and dominated two other good boxers. and yes, gatti was good, he was actully rated as the number one contender by ring magazing before getting dominated by mayweather.
ive also noticed that you have mayweather at 7, while most have him at number one, or at least top three
regardless of your unnecessary rambling, please explain your reasons for having corrales in front of mayweather

Do i got to correct once again, read carefully Bias Floyd fan 34, i said Floyd and Judah are the most skilled boxers, so with your reasoning, Floyd and Judah should be #1 cause i called them both the most skilled boxers, your reasoning is flawed as well, If you think Floyd should be #1 only by staying undefeated, Cotto should be #1, hell Hatton is another number 1, they are undefeated as well

hahahah WHAT?? you think floyd is the most skilled boxer, yet you have him as number seven on your list, below diego corrales, a boxer whom he dominated and knocked down five times... your reasoning is flawed.

you are speaking biasly pretty boy floyd 34, I too think Floyd is the most skilled boxer with Judah but that doesnt make them #1, I also think your reosoning is horrible and I have not seen your list, you will likely put your boy Floyd #1, thats what i question, you dont like my list cause i disagree of putting in Floyd as #1 , If put him #2 ,you will still be angry, you know you will screen name PBF34

yup, you caught my typo, congrats
and yes, i think floyd should be number one, i think he is the most skilled boxer today.
your list is bad, your reasoning is worse

i see you hate my list PBF34, i mean Pretty Boy Floyd 34
i see that you want PBFloyd #1 even though your screen name is PBF, you are the worst bias, Pretty Boy would move up if he fights a fighter again at the top 10 cause hes been vacatining too long
By the way ,Taylor is not even close to being a heavyweight, (hes welterweight) you said
The new heavy weight champ at 16.

Best List:
1. Floyd Mayweather
2. Winky Wright
3. Marco Antonio Barrera
4. Bernard Hopkins
5. Diego Corrales
6. Jose Luis Castillo
7. Ricky Hatton
8. Jermain Taylor
9. Erik Morales
10.Manny Pacquiao
Id say everyone who needs to be there is there, from 6-10 placement is arguable however
Worst List:
1.Morales(In my opinion, most imprssive win resume, and 2 losses which were at least close to Bar, but one was a a straight rob against Morales, only 1 real loss)
2.Hopkins(i wont completely punish him for loss cause he did outfight Taylor but he still lost)
3.Wright(Career is moving up, way up)
4.Barrera(When he seems dead, Always comes back and wins another great win)
5.R.Marquez(Owns his division)
6.Corrales(May move higher in time)
7.Mayweather(Beat Castillo and Corrales but no longer fights meaningful fights,Fight a good champ and ill put him as #1 or #2, needs to fight someone not as overated as Gatti)
8.Castillo(Great Wins and Great Losses on resume, some say he beat Mayweather that first time)
9.Larios(owns his division since forever)
10.J.M.Marquez(may slip out if he doesnt step up)
11.Margarito(very impressive fighter nobody wants to fight)O
12.Judah(beat overated soft punch Spinks but still is a good fighter)
13.Pacman(May or Maynot be as good as once made out to be,Well see in Morales rematch)
14.Hatton(Beat a old Tsyzu, but seems to be very talented)
15.Tarver(Won both recent wrong loss desicions with dominance, also was the man who ruined Roy Jones record)
16.Taylor(Didnt win Hopkins in majority of real peoples opinion, If he wins the rematch, hes easily in top 10)
I mean, that list is just terrible, talk about bias, morales at 1! Floyd at 7! hatton at 14?! The new heavy weight champ at 16?
Thats just foolish

You don't think James Toney is among the 10 best fighters in the world today? Don't count on me reading anymore of your posts, bud. :D
You are, after all, a Cory Spinks fan, so what would you know about boxing? I bet you know a lot about track and cross country though! :D
Know the history on p4p and then come back talking smack. p4p ranking was made for Ray Robinson. Perhaps if Toney still campaigned at cruiserweight you could add him. But now that he is fighting at the heavyweight level he is automatically void in a real p4p list. Toney is one of the best fighters I wont dismiss that, I am simply stating the facts that heavyweights cant be added into the a p4p list.
I try not to look at one fight so much when doing pound4pound. Because the Taylor/Hopkins fight was very close (I do think Taylor won) I keep Hopkins higher than taylor, because the overall career is more impressive right now. Hatton is above Taylor because of a more impressive win over Tszyu, and I think Hatton lb 4 lb is a more skilled fighter than Taylor.
Jermain Taylor just knocked off the number one guy pound for pound in the sport today. You gonna tell me he isn't top 5 pound for pound? When Hatton knocked Tszyu off, Tszyu was in my top 4 pound for pound, so I immediately inserted Hatton into the top 5. When you are UNDEFEATED and beat anybody in the top 5 pound for pound, you jump right in there.
And Taylor's two biggest wins are much bigger than Hatton's two biggest wins.
Taylor over Hopkins is bigger than Hatton over Tszyu
Taylor over Joppy is bigger than Hatton over Phillips
Thats just so wrong, Tsyzu was a live fighter who was ready for war and Hopkins wanted an easy fight. If you had of asked me how highly i rated Hopkins a few years ago i'd have told you i rated him very, very highly but now i dont dont. P4P Tszyu would murder him, infact i wouldnt be suprised if the little guy could beat him anyway.
Joppys pretty terrible too, he was shot when Taylor fought him and fighters like Magee and Tackie were IMO tougher opponents for Hatton.
I probably wouldnt argue over my last statement but there's no doubt that Hattons wins over Tszyu was far bigger than Taylors win over Hopkins.

I know people are complaining about Winky at #2, but when looking at pure skill I think he's better than the guys below him (even though he might not have the track record of the others).
Putting Taylor above Hatton is insane.
P4P rankings arent meant for heavyweights either.

Dont get me wrong Winky is a good fighter and in my top 10, but no way does he desever that #2 spot.
Who think Shane isn't out of his prime? Hell Shane's prime came at 135 10 years ago.
Both Mosley and Tito have been "shut down" before in there careers he was just the latest in a line to do so.
I have to agree, i'm definitely not ruling Winky out as one of the best P4P fighters but he'll need to prove a bit more to be considered number 2. Both Mosley and Tito were not only out of their prime but out of their prime weight class, they are good wins but not elite P4P opponents anymore.
Winky's a class act though, he's all business and if the moneys right he'll take any fight.
