Does anyone have any articles or pics from Roy's camp. Roy seems to have his camp on lockdown from the media. Maybe that means he is training with a passion.
Help, help now.
(^_^)
haha, Rjj is gonna knock him silly...the stupid thing though is that even if Rjj does KO him or beat him with a wide decision these Roy Haters will make an excuse that Tarver sucks and all this shit...sad.
Tarver does suck. His career resembles Roy Jones (meaning he hasnt fought anybody). His big wins come off an overrated RJJ and a pitter pat UD over a c-level fighter in Johnson..lol
Ive said that for a long time. He's not good..
I hope RJJ if he wins, wins by a TKO or KO and not a decision. He needs to make a statement.
I think if he just performs well he'll be making a statment after his last 2 performances. Although i would love to see a tko or ko i would like to see his supirior boxing skills and speed...if he still has em.
Alot of this talk reminds me of the Tyson comeback threads...
"This time he's dedicated..."
"This time he's in shape..."
"He is looking great..."
"He is cut up..."
"He has the hunger back..."
When you're shot, you're shot, and Roy's legs are shot...and as a former RJJ hater, I enjoyed it at first, BUT I do want to see him beat Tarver, because it would be a great ending to his career...
who cares what jones jr looks like..who seen his last fight? the guy is done!..he is no longer light on his fight...his reflexes arent their ..he fights tired and those last 2 knockouts (him hitting his head on the canvas) probably made it all worse!
More word of mouth
I heard Jones is cut like hell and has his old body back from before he ballooned and dropped it off. He seems focused. Tarver has no chance.
Roy never balloned up between his last fight and I hope this fight is a go w/ the hurricane and all I got tickets to this mo-fo.

If Jones keeps his hands up and out of the ropes, he should win easily.
I like the sound of Roy training hard and not letting the media in. I hope he does come focused to avenge his loss to Tarver. Cant wait for this fight.
this fight is no doubt interesting. thought tarver gave roy way too much respect in the first fight. now, i think he's more capable of dealing with roy now, even if roy comes with a strong performance. we'll see.

Most of what I've heard is by word of mouth. Jones is very focused. He is training twice a day. No HBO, no Bodyhead, nothing. Strictly boxing. Jones Sr. is training him and is very pleased with the progress. Sr. says Jr. is hungry and is doing things he hasn't done in a long time. Expect a focused Roy similar to the effort of preparation of the Ruiz fight.
