Nice, thanks a lot. These are from Vegas sports-books?
Teddy Atlas says when 2 power punchers matchup, the one with less power will prevail because he has to compensate for that and be a smarter fighter.
And yes, I got that quote from fight night.
I wouldn't really consider the De Marco fight to be a "brutal loss"
I call it brutal because of the oppurtunity presented to him and his reaction to the loss immediately post fight. He was crushed.
Is it too soon to add Danny Jacobs to the list?
When letterman, lampely and merchant die or retire it's going to be weird. Merchant is the old man we love to hate, lampely gets drunk almost every time he commentates and letterman is letterman
I swear to you, boxing will lose some real class when those three are gone.
^^^ I agree with this.
Linares loss his first fight with a shot to the TEMPLE. You can't do **** about that.
His second fight was a horrible stoppage. His bleeding made it worse than what it was. If the fight isn't stopped. He wins a wide UD. Unquestionably. He'd pot-shot the 12th round, that's why.
Linares has a huge ceiling. Great technique and a body the size of ODLH. He still hasn't even reached his peak yet.
You may be right but we have yet to see.
I have my doubts but I hope we see him come back stronger. He looked great in the De Marco fight but it's going to take some strong character to come back from brutal loss.
I think he was looking for a point deduction and it spiraled out of control but who knows.
Although medical reports were produced I am not sure about the authenticity. Goldenboy can easily pay off a doctor to write those up.
I'm not usually much of a conspiracy theorist but after last night Hopkins is really bringing out the skeptic in me.
As long as Dawson has that fire he showed last night he has my support. Even during this press conference he showed some charisma. I felt the same way he did when Hopkins went down. He was rightly upset and he showed that passion that he has lacked in the past.
Looking forward to the Pascal rematch
stevemaxboxing Steve Kim
A good source tell me that Jean Pascal will box in the USA, but only if a comparable offer to what he gets in Canada is available #boxing

And to Pascal, a belt is important to him against a Hopkins or Dawson. So this WBC ruling is very important, here #boxing
Does this put more pressure on Dawson keeping that title?
