Eat shit ******.
Whether or not Mayweather will fight him wasn't part of the topic. There are plenty of threads that discuss who "he won't fight", etc. The nay-sayers get a hard on at the thought of him getting knocked out and care more about that than actually seeing a good fight.
Back to the topic: Golovkin is a big risk at 160 because of his size, power, speed and skill. Mayweather would be a pretty small middleweight. He'd probably would show up to fight night at 155-157 max, and his opponent would most likely outweigh him by at least 10-15 pounds. I also don't think that Mayweather's power would be enough to keep Golovkin honest.
Floyd would have to fight a near perfect fight and avoid that left hook like the plague, which he can do, but it's no guarantee. Its an intriguing fight, but I'd rather see him fight Pacquaio. That would be still be one the most significant fights in boxing history.
I would not recommend Golovkin moving down in weight.
I still am puzzled why people insist on GGG moving down to 154. (obviously there are big money fights DUH but moving down a full weight class is just not a good idea).
Floyd not fighting Golovkin is more relevant than a fantasy outcome between the two because they aren't going to fight.
For all we know this fight could happen, IF GGG doesn't move up to 168.
Second, its interesting to talk about and its a shame that we can't ever have intelligent talk about big name fighters without troll, cry babies and detractors.
Bye now.
Usual suspects # 1: Quillin is scared, GGG by 4th round murder.
Usual suspects # 2: GGG never fought a slick black man, he loses by wide UD. But because Quillin would win by such a wide margin, the fight shouldn't even happen in the first place.
I'm definitely a GGG fan...but he's fighting a guy who lost to Jesse Brinkley...how do you get pumped for that?
Ssshh... The partially white guy is guaranteed a win. Don't take that away from him.
:lol1: at Broner beating Mayweather. He'd be lucky to win a round. He's done absolutely nothing to make me and most other people that he can give Mayweather trouble.
