i dont see pavlik beating hopkins

Even fight. Which is a shame, because if Hopkins were any younger than 43, he would utterly destroy Pavlik and probably end Pavlik's prime in the process. If you take age out of the equation, Pavlik just ain't on Hop's level.

I expect Pav to win... I dont expect him to stop or knock out Hopkins though

A few things first - I want pavlik to win, i expect pavlik to win However, seeing how Taylor Floored Pavlik in the first fight, I can see a sneaky hopkins KO happening. I can see Pavlik getting countered and floored/rocked/hurt by an old but still strong B-hop. And I think with the controversy (i hate using that particular word) surrounding the Calz win over B-hop, I see Pavlik looking for a KO, which could easily get him in trouble. My Prediction though, Pavlik by stoppage in the 9th or 10th round

he will look better than calzaghe he throws harder shots that joe and real punches not slaps. He will get a ud vs hopkinsFor the record i realy like Pavlic ,hes great to watch and i hope he KOs Hopkins,but i just dont see it !

hopkins is much bigger than pavlik, hes gonna make him look like a twig That's one thing that makes me think Hopkins can win. Pavlik is used to being stronger than guys but Hopkins is a strong light-heavyweight, and Pavlik is moving up. I know Kelly is the logical pick but I just think Bernard can pull this off :boxing:

i think hopkins will find kelly to be much more hittable than any of his last few opponents. but i dont know how much that will really matter. his accuracy is scary good but kelly has a chin and he's tough as nails. i want bhop to win so he can retire and feel good about it. but i don't know that thats very realistic. i dont want to see bhop get stopped this late in his career but if he ever was asking for it... this is that fight.

He has the workrate to edge a decision over Hopkins but Hopkins will make him look real bad throughout the fight.Thats just the way i see it bruva !:boxing:

I also think it will be an even far more ugly fight than the Calzaghe v Hopkins fight was !

just rewatched calz hopkins and hopkins is such a clever guy, calz is clever himself but hopkins is a master of distance and he was even beating calz to the punch at the start (albeit before calz adapted to plan b) but still. his timing and speed is much better than pavliks and his footwork is unlike anything he has seen before too. this + the weight difference and i cant believe the some what rookie pavlik is the favorite (not in a bad way, he is a new champ).I to think that this is a much closer fight than most think it is ! I think theres a lot of Pavlic fans who are underestimating just how much of a spoiler Hopkins is ! Gonna be a close fight but you gotta go with youth ! But its funny because pavlic to is gonna find himself in the same position as Calzaghe was !

If Taylor can beat him who was clearly beaten by Pavlik twice. i can see pavlik winning.
