It's not a crime. But he must report it to the WBC/VADA. There is a list of banned substances. This is on the list. His team was supposed to report it. He knows that.

He needs to get a therapeutic use exemption from the testers for the medication.
Solid analysis.
Added to post: We haven't seen evidence that GGG is soft to the body, so it's hard to see how Canelo would be the first to hurt him to the body. Clearly Canelo has at least some power in his body shots (i.e., Liam Smith). Basically, if Canelo knocks GGG out with a body shot, you should say "I told you so."
Can't believe the hate he is getting. I'm staring to realize who knows about the sport and who doesn't.
+1
A couple of losses to a great fighter like Sor Rungvisai and at Roman's highest weight don't negate he's a great fighter. You could argue he was willing to push himself against a great fighter at a higher weight.
Bradley ain't do sh^t did he? Can't blame him for the judges bs.
I'm gonna write in Shannon Briggs. I'm disappointed in his PED usage after claiming to be vegan & 100% clean even if he looked like the 1976 East Germany womens Olympic teams guinea pig.
I didnt' hear about that lol
I think Erik Morales in his first fight with Danny Garcia provides a good blueprint: Get inside Deontay's windmill range and throw compact jabs/punches.
It's one win, and I commend him for it, especially the durability and heart. But I remember the same rhetoric when Matthysse knocked out Peterson, etc etc.
I question moreso the reactions to often one legitimate win, how everyone gets carried away, and no one ever seems to learn. Not to mention that he has been outboxed for long periods in different fights. It doesnt bode well for him, Joshua is not Szpilka, Washington, or even Ortiz.
Great point regarding Matthysse's win over Peterson. I thought that win announced that Matthysse was the real deal McNeal, but he was humbled against Garcia and seemed to quit against Postol.
As I've learned more about boxing, I've come to realize there's no such thing as an untouchable fighter. Sure, there are guys who are avoided, but ultimately it seems like every fighter, even the undefeated, find themselves in fights that are extremely competitive.
We have seen this play out so many times on here, don't you guys get bored of the same rhetoric?
There was a strong argument about Wilder being a boogieman before the Ortiz fight because Stiverne was his premiere win. He earned *some* legitimacy with the Ortiz win, since Ortiz is pretty good technically and Wilder had to deal with that, and also because Wilder was chin checked (understatement).
50/50 again. The variables are:
1. Does Canelo's stamina improve?
2. Does GGG slow down any on the downside of his career?
I'll give a slight edge to GGG. If it goes to the scorecards, I think Canelo will have the judges' edge, especially if the fight is in Las Vegas.
Did Paulie get tested full time too? Manny could have been dirty... Im a fan but im not stupid. Any fighter could have been juicing at the top. ANY... unles they were doing year round test like Donaire.
But Paulie is seriously losing his mind over Pac. He accuses people left and right. unless they his friends. Love his boxing analysis but when it comes to accusing fighter for being dirty, he should stfu if he doesnt have any proof.
Great point.
I think participation was an issue last time. I don't have any ideas on how to fix it unless there's a way people can sign up for a group reminder and everyone gets their name tagged a couple days before the event.
The reminders that happened in 2017 were nice, but I know that's one more thing for the organizer to add to their list.
and if he loses to andrade does he still get that money? hmm
I'm wondering the same thing. If the $45M is guaranteed, man, what a deal for the OG because a fight with Andrade is dangerous, IMO. Good for GGG getting paid.
The answer to your first is absolutely not.
And to answer your second question Bernard Hopkins didn't have much of an amateur background and he's still H.O.F bound.
Thanks.
Regarding my "amateur" question, I definitely didn't intend to say a good/great amateur background is required for HOF entry.
Lem is overrated, but Saunders was a bit underrated as well.
I get why because he has looked poor recently and has suffered stamina problems in the past, but there were flashes of the fighter he could be and he seems to be putting it all together now.
Whether he beats any of them or not, Saunders belongs near the top of 160.
I would go:
1. GGG
2. Canelo
3. Jacobs
4. Saunders
Saunders has better win than DJ but the performance vs GG edges him ahead just. On the right night I could see any of these guys beating each other (edge to 1 and 2 obviously)
Lem has always been basic, but if you fight the wrong fight he will end you. Saunders boxed beautifully by anyone’s standards
That's how I rate the MWs. Good win for Saunders. GGG finished Lemieux in 8 rounds, though, so that's the immediate triangle comparison you could make (I know: triangle theories are only a puzzle piece).
