-If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.
-2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points. Everyone starts with 5 doubles and 3 triples to use throughout the year. If you forget how many you have left, check the leaderboard in the master thread.
Sticky me -MEGA-, BostonGuy, TBear, jaded
Finally got one right, I'll tally the results later today or tomorrow morning.
Thanks, man. And I'll do my best to get them inputted sooner rather than later..
Looking over next weeks fights I'm not really seeing anything worth doing a Pick 'em for. I'm kinda interested in seeing Brand back in action, but nothing about Baysangurov makes me think he's remotely ready for this level.
I'm figuring we wait til the 23rd and do Eubank vs Degale and, maybe, Dirrell vs Yildrim.
Thank you for this post. Real good.
No problems, man. I - we - the CREW that is, will try to make it a regular feature - videos of significant past fights (ideally a best and subpar performance), maybe a brief breakdown too, though trying not to shape opinion too much.
Even before this fight I thought Zepeda was the more polished boxer...Now I'm convinced of that. Ramirez is big and durable but he's not that great.
I don’t think he’s the better boxer
He’s just very awkward plus he’s a southpaw
I’m surprised he didn’t lose points for coming in with his head
Zepeda can take a punch but also Ramirez couldn’t put more than four punches together
Idk. I based my decision off of what I saw in Zapeda vs Diaz and Ramirez vs Imam.
Your reasoning is understandable. Ramirez looked pretty strong and showed a good work rate in that fight. His size was also to his advantage against Zepeda.

Ramirez, KO, Mid, X2.
Watched a couple of their past fights.
Ramirez is the better Jose. He’s just the more polished boxer. Zepeda struggled in that fight against Diaz. I know he won, but he didnt look good.

Nice dong business with you last week, bro.
My tip had those folks way off-track and hence you the only one who got points last week.
Throw your name in the hat for old time sakes
Damn. In before I forget another pick... :lol1:
KOBA: Ramirez DEC, CLOSE.
I am very, very tempted to go with Zepeda though... main thing that's stopping me is Ramirez is blowing hot at the moment and is definitely the more popular of this pair of Mex-Am TR fighters right now. Ain't a lot to pick between their opposition and both have looked pretty dominant except when Zepeda put out his shoulder against Flanagan.
For me this is something like a 60/40 fight rather than the 80/20 or wider the bookies have it, and the upset wouldn't surprise me in the slightest (specially not after the other upsets this weekend). Surprised we ain't even seen a coupla players go for the x2 on Zepeda... may even change my pick yet.
