That’s not fair, he has heart and a decent chin, tested both in fury 2 and with Ortiz. He could benefit from a proper trainer, he’s quite athletic. I think his mistake here is to take the immediate rematch.
Weirdly enough I’m inclined to say canelo. I love Toneys style, it’s so smooth, but I think Canelo would go to the body early and capture the later rounds, and get the decision
I think a lot changes. I’ll take Hagler over Leonard, Pacquiao over Mayweather, Hopkins over Calzaghe and Whitaker over Trinidad.
I think Holyfield has always had Tyson’s number so I think that’s the same fight.
I think the hagler/Lenard fight is always going to be close.
I don’t know too much about Trinidad’s rise. But I would say out of the 4 remaining, the only difference in result is Hopkins by UD and maybe Tyson survives the 12.
Im not a fan of boxers continuing to call out the same fighters, but this would be an entertaining match up, both for the build up and the actual fight.
Coralles and Castillo were pretty elite and prime, the latter more so than the former. As was said before cotto can also be included. Other than that Floyd fought some great fighters within or shortly after their prime in Mosley (despite the age, coming off an amazing win over margarito), Oscar, pac and the list goes on.
I would also like to see Joshua/Wilder, but I think fury wins the rematch. So I’m going to say Joshua/Fury.
Above all, I would love to see ward/canelo, but I don’t think the former is coming out of retirement.
He was a solid fighter, I think he gets undue criticism because of his style and demeanour. The guy could fight, I think he would be top 5 in this era as well.
I’m also for this fight. Both are coming back, both haven’t fought in awhile, should be exciting. However, I think Sergio white washes this fight. Ud or even a stoppage due to exhaustion on Chinos part.
This is probably the best thing for wilder, it will probably make a more competitive fight. He needs to get some help with coaching. I still got fury in any case, but a couple of months could prove pivotal in making this fight less one sided.
He should have been banned, there is no way he didn’t know his wraps were tampered. He’s a hell of a tough fighter; that beating he took against pac and he still kept coming forward, hats off for the toughness. But he’s a cheat that caused a lot of damage to god knows how many fighters, most notably cotto.
