What’s this? Battle of the flakes? Lol
I got Judah by decision. The weakness for both guys was their mental game but I don’t think Broner had the kind of style to shut down Judah and Zab was a more talented fighter.
Prime Judah was beating Floyd Mayweather Jr. pretty handily for the first 5 or so rounds of their fight, so I'm gonna go with him.
Broner was a weight bully who got exposed once he was no longer bigger than his competition.
Yeah he’s just never looked the same, Broner pre Maidana was an offensive fighter, ever since he’s just looked passive.
I remember the first time I ever got knocked down in sparring and it does make you hesitant to commit as its always in the back of your mind. Obviously Broner is a million levels above that but I do think it’s the same sort of equation.
Without doubt
Gun shy
I think you might of hit this one right out of the park
He never seemed to recoup from there on
Crazy to think they were onto something that was easily and obvious so wrong

Ya they def thought paulie was an easy way to pick up another title. I personally thought broner lost a close fight but it wasnt a completley blatant robbery it was a very close fight. They totally believed the hype . And with madaina being thoroughly outboxed by alexander ( even tho Devon is a southpaw ) most people figured broner would do the exact same . Broner has a great chin and didnt quit but he took a pretty bad beating from chino, but he also kept fighting back u gotta give him credit for that .
Completely agree, I scored that fight 7-5 to Malignaggi but could see why people might have it the other way. Tom Schreck having it 117-111 was disgraceful though. (I only know it was Schreck cause Paulie still whines about it haha)
I don’t think anybody realised how much Maidana had improved under Robert Garcia. I remember watching that Alexander fight and he looked terrible, 2 years later and he’s punching Mayweather to the limit. Crazy...
Bored so doing some fantasy matchups. Who takes this one at 140?
Judah gave floyd a good fight for the first 5 rounds. Something I don’t think broner would be capable of
He also busted cotto’s nose.
Broner made his name at lightweight where he was gigantic. We were fooled to believe he’d be a threat at the higher weights. When he started fighting guys his size it was disappointing from then on.
The thing is it’s not even the lack of physical talent from broner. Wtf
He just starts too slow. Doesn’t let his hands go, and overall just doesn’t have an effected game plan.
Prime judah will probably even beat chubby mikey at 147.
I never understood the move to 147, the fight against Paulie was fun but it exposed his limitations. They should’ve immediately moved back down to 135 or 140. I think they believed their own hype and it majorly backfired, and yeah he’s never been the same, that Maidana fight broke him mentally IMO.

It's true , although broner was never a high volume puncher he def let his hands go alot more pre madaina . It gave him PTSD or something. I think broner would have been his own undoing either way and he would have fell off , but I really think that loss to Marcos ruined his psyche in the ring . That and the move to welter . Which seemed like arrogance at the time ( he could have done ALOT more at 135 or gone to 140 instead ) it was likely just because he partied and ate himself out of lightweight.

Judah wins a decision simply by showing more activity. Broner doesn’t throw enough punches.

Strange but Judah was not consistent. One fight he would look great and another he wasn't very good. But on both their best nights, I would favor Judah.

I would say judah imo . But zab disappoints often . So iam not sure . I guess it depends on broner making weight and zab not falling in the shower .
