I feel like he will...i know he already activated the rematch clause, but as it gets closer i can see him faking some injury or some **** to get out of it..i just dont think he's mentally ready
I don't honestly see a better path forward than through Fury. Losing to Fury is a better option than carrying on in a series of lower paid fights that he might also lose. Wilder will be 35 soon, traditionally that isn't a bad age to hang em up.
With each passing day, it's becoming increasingly obvious that people FEAR the Brit will lose his belt. Fury's family, team, and even his fans are HOPING that Deontay will give up. Sorry, not gonna happen. The Bronze Bomber is coming for his revenge, and nothing can stop him.
FOH...... Dude is clearly stubborn asf now yall haters acting like he mentally weak when he isn't.
Say he was gonna quit when he wasnt.
Its enough bs to clown about but yall just can't stop lol. U,Bang, and the rest. STFU lol as if bum squad wilder didn't bring this upon himself with his 50 different excuses and blaming his trainer and the ref for why he got his ass kicked! wilder is mentally weak and its been obvious for awhile look at how he has a total meltdown any time he gets criticized!

I’ve said a few times i think he may pull out “injured”. Then once it goes past July 18th, i think the rematch clause is no longer valid. So he gets out of it with a fake injury then then probably says Fury’s team don’t want to negotiate a 3rd fight now it’s not legally bound. Wilder is a compulsive liar anyway, so that’ll be the tactic to make it look like he wants the fight, while wriggling out of it.
But then again, i think his team, broadcaster etc. Will be forcing him into the fight. It’s the biggest earner for them and a chance to get HW belt back on their side.
I don’t believe Wilder really wants the fight. So he’s fighting because he’s backed into a corner and has to, or he’ll pull out.
I picked Fury in the prior 2 fights but I seem to be 1 of the very few who still fancy Wilder in the rubber match. I felt at the end of round one, that would have been exactly what wilder would have asked for pre-fight, a light handed guy coming straight at him. We know how it ended but i think that shot he hit him with in the 2nd, not the 3rd did some serious damage, not dissimilar to AJ's reaction in Ruiz 1. I'm sure as a % pick, Fury would be winning most of the time but I think Wilder has a better than advertised chance of catching him.
If anyone in Wilder's team has any business sense or any interest in his well-being and career, he will insist on step aside money.
But they don't, and he's a moron, so the fight will probably go ahead and his career at the top level will be cut short by a vicious beating.
