Santa is willing to make one fight of your choosing to take place at some point in 2020, but your request must be reasonable. No A-side vs A-side from competing platforms that you know there's a 0% chance of happening next year.
So trying to be realistic, what's the fight you want to see the most next year?
I would have said Wilder vs. Fury II, but that fight supposedly is already signed and definitely happening, so I'm going to say Manny Pacquiao vs. Errol Spence to unify the traditional "big 3" world welterweight titles (WBC/WBA/IBF).
It'd be a fascinating fight for so many reasons. Was Pacquiao regaining his former glory against Thurman a fluke? Or was Thurman shot after so many injuries? What kind of force will Spence be after his accident, especially without any tune ups?
We haven't had an undisputed WBC/WBA/IBF welterweight champion since Zab Judah in 2006 and there's only been four in history (Judah, Spinks, Honeyghan and Curry).
So that's my pick. How about you guys?
Then how come the average person doesn't know who the hw champ is or the only 2 names they know are Pac and Floyd.
just because the average person doesn't watch boxing doesn't mean more people aren't watching boxing.
if there are 300 million people in a county and 1 million of them were watching boxing before, but now 3 million of them are watching boxing, that doesn't mean the average person will know the champion.
I would have said Beterbiev v Canelo, but it sounds like Alvarez is abandoning 175, so Jermell v J-Rock would be my next...Both guys can be vulnerable, and the Charlo family connection just adds to the storyline.
Damn, I hear you, but it looks like we woulda had to cash in Christmas, a birthday, and promise to not ask for anything else all year, while keeping up with all our chores, plus good grades to get a Canelo v Beterbiev matchup. Even then it woulda been a scenario like that kid who somehow got enough Pepsi points for that Hawker Harrier Jet advertised in the commercials.
This is the most popular boxing has been in decades. There are more people watching boxing in than there have been in decades. There is more money being poured into the sport than any other point in history.
You have a funny definition of "killing the sport."

I actually would like to see Canelo take on Golovkin again, I feel like golovkin is one good win away from getting his attention and interest again
Jermell Charlo/J-Rock Williams
Spence/Pacquiao
Leo Santa Cruz/Gary Russell, Jr.
Teofimo Lopez/Vasily Lomachenko
Yordenis Ugas/Danny Garcia
Wilder/Fury II
Canelo Alvarez/Billy Joe Saunders
Serhiy Derevyanchenko/Demetruis Andrade
Hopefully, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Adrien Broner, and Amir Khan will retire.
I think Joshua will fight the Wilder/Fury winner next fall around Nov. or Dec.
Crawford/Spence isn't happening until 2021
We can get like Canelo/Charlo or Andrade matchup, maybe?
Sure as fans we should bend over and take it up the %#¥ instead of insisting that it is not acceptable to make business decisions that are killing the sport. Apparently short sighted greed trumps all matters concerning boxing.

i wish pbc starts hiring more intelligent people to shill for them on this forum in 2020 because the ones they're paying right now are just not cutting it.
How dare you list the fights YOU want to see as a fan. You need to follow the instructions and give up on seeing fights while falling in line and just accepting what boxing wants to give you. In other words stop being a fan of boxing and start cheerleading for these promoters and networks baby!!!
There are already plenty of threads for people to discuss fantasy fights that have a 0% chance of happening.
This is a thread to discuss realistic fights for 2020, and which realistic fight each of us wants to see the most.
If you don't like my thread, don't participate in it. Leave the DAZN/PBC/ESPN arguing elsewhere.
i would love to see AJ/wilder....but i dont think it will happen in 2020 even if wilder beats fury
i would just love to watch AJ run and get KTFO and shut all of these pathetic fgts up
Joshua is tied up in mandatory hell right now and even if Wilder beats Fury, Fury has a rematch clause. I'd say Joshua vs. Wilder is impossible for 2020. Our soonest hope for an undisputed heavyweight champion of the world is 2021.
It's my wish so I'm crossing platforms. Any one of these would be great:
Lomachenko vs Tank Davis
Spence vs Pacquiao
Spence vs Crawford
Canelo vs David Benavidez
Canelo vs Charlo
Canelo vs Andrade
Beterbiev vs Bivol
Wilder vs Joshua
Gallo Estrada vs Inoue

Tank Davis fight his 1st real opponent
Loma vs Lopez/ Haney/Davis
Crawford fight a PBC fighter
Canelo vs Andrade
Thurman actually fights
Amir Khan retires lmao
