catchweights have always been a part of boxing. if you were a true student of the sport, you'd understand this.
fuck you, i know catchweights have been around that doesnt mean i have to like it. and who the fuck do u think u are. ur automatically of student of the game and i'm not ??
..I have never felt punches like that in my life.
Smh @ this kid getting his career destroyed and his promoter protects Marg.
Miguel Cotto got cheated out of remaining the #1 Welterweight. No doubt in my mind, he'd of been #1 right now if he beat Margarito... think about it, he was winning most of that fight against brick. He got a rawer deal than Paul Will. At least that sh didn't get hard until the championship rounds. Tone was committing assault for most of that fight.
link please, i'd like to read it myself
I was really worried, but this video actually calmed me down a bit. The speed is still there in spurts.
Look at this vid of when he was training for Cotto- it's about the same level.
nah, he looks alot more focused in this vid
That's not accurate at all. He has quotas that has to meet on a monthly basis. The chats and extra bull**** like TV appearances is at the request of ESPN. Other writers who cover other sports for ESPN do the same thing, INCLUDING BLOGS and some of those people update DAILY. He gets paid for everything that he does. He is the last person to do freebies.
And he is huge ******* is person. Ask around at how many writers and fans he high-hands, doesn't even shake their hands or turns his back when people say hello.....like he's a star. :Thinkingo
And he takes a lot of stories and news from other sources, like this one, without ever giving credit to anyone. It's not a coincident that someone will break a story here or elsewhere and then he posts it like four hours later or sometimes days later like it's never been reported.
this i believe
the difference being rafael works for espn, a big market site yet i never see him cite any sources when he posts breaking stories. on this site, even with all it's faults, i have seen them give sources on occasion
more than on occasion, this site gives sources quite often
BUT if you dont have power you can never finish off an opponent
speed can break an opponent down, u wont get the one punch KO like pac/hatton. Take floyd/gatti for example. gatti got broke down by speed and accuracy.
It's pretty much everyone involveds fault though to be honest. even fighters. who once they reach a certain level think they are too elite.
this is a big problem IMO. fighters like bradley and berto think the deserves X amount of dollars win its not the case
Oh lord, it all comes back to Floyd. Jesus :nonono:
One would have there have been proof that Floyd had done it in other fights? Or are we just going by "look at his face" "dry blood"(red dye).
Would there be reasons as to why it could possibly been done for the first time(Which really doesn't make the circumstances any better at all, he still should have never done it)?
Eh, if this is going to get into a Floyd vs Pac or justifying Pac or flomo pactard type of bullshit thread. And, get away from the thread topic then I am just out of here.
the reason i ask is cause IMO some poster are defending marg saying he's not a cheater to somehow justify him getting a fight with pac. honestly i dont give a fukk about floyd or pac right now
