RSR Breaking News: Amir Khan Stops Manny Pacquiao in Sparring Session
By Geno McGahee
October 27th, 2010
RSR has just been informed that the training camp of Manny Pacquiao had a slight scare recently during a sparring session with Amir Khan. There has been recurring talk from members of the team as well as trainer Freddie Roach that Pacquiao is not as focused on this fight as he has been in the past and that he is not performing well in the gym.
According to an inside source, Pacquiao was controlled and stunned so badly by Amir Khan in training that the sparring session was halted after just three rounds. Roach had a heated discussion with his prize fighter where he reportedly told him that he was “going to lose” if he didn’t get his head together.

not suprising Khan is a world champion after all.
Yes, he is. Also, based on styles alone, Amir Khan is technically SUPPOSED to beat Manny. I say this because on paper we can clearly see that Khan is the superior boxer thus theoretically enabling him to consistently outpoint Manny Pacquiao.
Khan is no Mayweather, and I don't believe Khan would consistently dominate Pac at all. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there are times when Khan dominates the action. Manny is great, but not superman!
If it's true you'd think the 24/7 cameras caught a thing like that and they'd be more than eager to put it in for the next episode.
actually you can control what's being shown. I saw how the HBO crew interact with Margarito and his camp and you can let them know what is to be shown and what isn't and they often times will ask
Anything that makes the fight look more evenly matched or geared towards an upset usually means more buys for them.
but this I totally believe
Manny is 100% ready. If you want the best sourse speak to Miguel on here (Nimextli I think). You cannot get a more reliable source he essentially is there everyday at WC
Whether or not this is true or whether this is exaggerated I am not sure. But sparring is just sparring, anyone can take their eye off the ball in a spar.
I mentioned this a week ago:

There was a furore, Roach wasn't happy.
But at the same time I don't think much can be taken from it. It was non-intensive sparring with a Pac that wasn't focused at the time.
The article the TS gave said that this happened at Wild Card, but Amir hasn't sparred with Manny since returning to the United States (He's sick). I can believe if it happened in the Philippines, however, we would've had reports of the incident a week ago, knowing how the media there works.

Don't be a dumb ass, they don't allow cameras during serious sparring/training.
Good.
This report if true just added roughly 350k PPV buys. :D
....this is what it comes down to folks. They need to make people think Margarito is not a ****, sitting duck in this fight and they can't really put it out and say Margarito isn't, because we've all seen him get horribly KTFO and then looking like a stunned fish in his last fight against a nobody....
So, the next best thing? Make Pac out to be unfocused, looking terrible, getting knocked out in sparring etc etc. The only problem with that is that we've already had a million reports saying he's been looking as good as ever, fast, powerful and he's going to dominate Marg and stop him early. Hell, Roach recently said that Pac's been doing just what he wanted and they are even looking to blow Marg out earlier than he thought because he's been looking so good.
Arum probably took Roach aside and said "Hey man, you are making this look like reality. We don't want that. Say he's looking terrible and unfocused"
Now, every idiot and his dog will be ranting and raving "Pac's going to get knocked out! Margarito is still P4P material. FOTC!" and then when Pac comes in and does what we all knew he was meant to do a long time ago, people will act surprised and pretend as if it is a miracle.
Folks, Pac is not getting knocked out. He's not losing focus and he's not looking bad. From every reliable source, he's been training like a madman and looking like his usual self. He's going to win the fight as predicted and we should all just relax and take a reality check here.
