I don't remember where I read that Nazim R. was warned by someone that Marg had used plaster in his previous fight, that is why Nazim was very vigilant and kept his eye on team Marg. If Nazim would not have caught Marg, he would have entered that ring and would have used those plaster wraps on SSM. Question to his supporters, what would have happened if Nazim did not catch Marg with plaster? Exactly! I wouldnt be surprise if that was the case, Because he was adamant about Margarito taking his gloves off and re-wrapping it in front of him even though an organisation member had signed it off already at that point.. Boxing has two faces, the things they let us know and the things they keep in within the circle, And no one would know a thing with they're not in within THAT circle.

Agree 100% Arum is the greediest bastard in the game and He would wear plasters himself to reach his goal if necesary. After watching Assault In The ring, I now have lost all respect for Bob Arum. In the film he says and I quote: ( What he did is inexcusable {Resto}. He should be banned from the sport forever. There shouldn't be any forgiveness.) Collins was a future cash cow for Bob. The future was bright and Bob would have made alot of money off him. Now fast forward 27 years later and Bob Arum is begging to get Margarito a boxing license after he clearly got caught cheating. Is it because Margarito became a mexican hero and the new cash cow after beating Cotto? The Staple Center did sell out for the Margarito vs Mosley fight. Bob didn't care about the crime Margarito did against who knows how many fighters. Never did he side with Cotto who was also his fighter. Is it because Cotto was damaged goods after losing? The only thing Bob Arum cares about is money. Not the fighters who risk there lives in the ring so that Bob can make alot of cash. The actions Bob took after Margarito got caught cheating further lets me know what kind of scumbag he really is. It's ok to cheat as long as Bob owns the fighter who is cheating. Now 27 years later it is not a crime. Margarito didn't know what was going on is what Bob's argument became. It makes me wonder , that if Resto was bob's fighter and could generate alot of money, would Bob have sided with Resto? Hell yeah he would have. I will not buy the Pac vs Marg fight. Not because it's not a good fight because it is. Only because Bob arum is involved. We all know this. In the past purportedly overheard stating "....let the blacks and latinos beat each other up inside the ring.....we will make all the money outside the ring..." Bob is bob but Margarito has done his time and he deserve to fight IMO, Resto actually did get in the ring and was caught on that same night.. Its difficult to make Margarito guilty even though he looks suspicious regarding his previous fights.. All we know was he got caught trying to cheat against Mosley and was punished for it by the organisation, Maybe his punishment should have been more than he received but he got punished. Then got rewarded by Uncle Bob.

But as disgusting as it is, if you can't prove it and you accuse and punish somebody for doing it, it's really an act of injustice on your part. So I will refrain from judging a man without proof to accompany my claims (in terms of the Cotto fight). I wouldn't want to be judged in that way, it wouldn't make sense for me to point the finger at someone else. You forgot the part where your character can be used against you in determining the likelihood of whether you committed a crime or not. If I have prior burglaries and Im being accused of burglary the jury is going to take that into account. yea but we all know how a jury can be easily manipulated,, what we need to look for here is actual proof....

Ok here we go, first I would like to say that I'm not trying to defend Bobby cuz in my opinion he's one of the things that is bad for boxing right now. With that said, Resto got caught immediately after his fight with Collins, there was no doubt about what he did, Margarito got caught before his fight with Mosley, meaning he didn't actually cheat but he tried to cheat. A guy convicted for trying to murder someone isn't going to get the same punishment as someone who actually killed a person. Did Margarito use plaster in his gloves for his previous fights?? Maybe, maybe not, the only ones who can answer that is Capetillo and Margarito, but the fact remains that there is no proof whatsoever about him cheating in previous fights.
