This is just setting facts straight, as far as his PR stunt about having had a tough childhood and overcoming obstacles. It ain't so. Otherwise carry on. I didn't see this as such an important topic, though for some reason posters have trouble accepting that Hopkins is not who they think he is as far as his past is concerned Ok less jsut say he grew up , in a Nice neighborhood . Had Two parents in the home, a dog named Poochie and a white picket fence in his yard. the fact of the matter is he spent five years in a Penitentary. I dont think 100% of people on this board or from life in general want to go through that . I am not a boxer , nor have i ever been a boxer . I am a fan of the sport , and i think sometimes Boxers are robbed in the ring . They get in the ring knowing that they can get killed . That is a reality. How are they more susceptible to being killed past the 12th then they are during the initial 12 ??

Zab KILLS Floyd in 1. Nah, this is the only fight that worries me for Zab. I'm rooting for him and hope he knocks the FUCK out of Floyd without ruining Floyd. I still want Mayweather to be the 2nd best out there. But Floyd has talked too much shit about Zab and I hope he pays. That being said, I fully understand why everyone will be picking Floyd to win. If Judah weren't my favorite fighter, I'd probably be agreeing. I don't think Mayweather is faster than Zab. They're even in speed. Obviously, Mayweather has had the better competition and is way better technically. Mayweather will rightfully be the huge favorite to win. Still, I think Zab can pull it off. I dnt think Mayweather has ever fought someone who was just as fast if not faster then him . A 1 punch KO power having Southpaw = problems for Floyd .

All 15 rounds means is more time to stand around earlier in the fight. 15 rounds would change nothing because the fighters would change their pace. Like Rockin' said, this would only result in the fighters being more damaged by the end. Pointless thread. Thats your opinion obviously there are other people that feel different , I dont think it would be more damage to the boxers . You said it yourself they would be standing around anyway . Make them stand longer until they wanted to do something about it .

I think it should be more in the fighters hands . How many times has it came down to the 12th round and a fighter that was losing comes close to getting a KO? I think with 3 extra rounds , we would see more KO's and more people deserving to b e champs , also more fighters not taking training camp easy .

Oh this is a easy one . Look to at the man to the left of this message ( My Avatar ) HE kicked the sh** out of him in the first fight , and lost to the judges . Then he nearly decapitated him in the 2nd fight in front of all his familly in friends .

It is a fact . More KO = More Fans Less bullshit judges scorecards = more fans More clear winners = More fans Good referee's with a lil more power = Safer boxers . I mean How many times have you seen a fighter win the early rounds then try to coast to a victory and are PPV money ??

Hopkins isnt that type of fighter? I just saw some old tapes today. He isn't the aggressive type, he's a true boxer. Why are people picking him to knock out Taylor? I just dont see it now that I saw the tapes. \ Maybe because he had Taylor practically out on his feet holding on for dear life in the 10th round of the last fight ??? Taylor being knocked out is a possibility .

You know that part where Taylor throws a bunch of punches and Hopkins goes to the ropes.. Well I was watching the fight and that part came up, then I rewinded and watched it about 8 times(that part) and realised that NONE of those punches even landed on Hopkins.. Look for yourself, anyone have a gif? Yeah i saw the fight on Pay Per View. It looked like those puches were landing but in reality B-hop had lost his balance . Thats another round that Taylor won that he shouldnt have .
