So why do I need to educate myself? His style of fighting wasn't pleasant, you even said he was the best chess player, but anyways, it's late and I can't be fucked to argue.
He was exciting for the most part until Steward got his hands on him, Steward made him a better fighter but also a more boring one. He did have quite a few exciting fights. The Briggs, Bruno, Grant, Mercer and Klitchko fights were exciting.
So why did Danny Williams put away essentially the same Mike in half the time? Lennox fought scared that fight, with his power he should've been able to put that shot Mike away in about 2 rounds.
Lennox fought smart and also hurt his hand in the earlier rounds and had to take three or so rounds off and was toying and punishing Tyson with his jab until his hand numbed up and put Tyson out of his misery with a monster right hand.
Tyson took a lot of punishment.
Anything else?
I like Lennox Lewis and his career was much more impressive than Wlad's. But for the most part, he was not an exciting fighter, and his chin was a bit suspect. He did struggle a bit with an ancient Tyson and I think Ibeabuchi would have given him all kinds of trouble had he not gone to prison. Would have liked to see him fight Wlad as well.
Struggled with Tyson? It was a one sided beatdown.

Argue about what?
Lennox boxed smart, and finished his opponents in style. I for one thought he was a joy to watch.
If that's boring to you then fair play. Everyone has different views on what is ''exciting'' and what isn't.
And yes, it's late and i need another tin of guinesses LOL.

Thanks for playing. Get out of my thread!

The true greatest heavyweight champion of all time. :fing02:
Lennox and Ali sit at the same table.
Yep, that Red X was a damn good champion, sadly missed.

I know you like to press buttons but educate yourself.
Lennox Lewis was the best chess player in the business and knew how to finish the job.
It was art!
So he was exciting?

1. Muhammad Ali
2. Joe Louis
3. Larry Holmes
4. Jack Dempsey
5. George Foreman
Lennox Lewis is in the bottom of my top 10 but you can make an argument for him to be up there.
