Fury vs Nganou
Aj vs Jake Paul ( KO barely saved face)
Usyk vs Rico
Just plain embarrassing for boxing, been watching less and less ever since. The talent is abysmal still the best sport in the world but damn is the talent sad as hell
With the way Matias fights his chin/punch resistance was always on borrowed time. At 33 his stamina ain't the same and none his chin is officially gone. Time to hang it up, fun ride tho. Hopefully we now see Dalton against the best, really interested to see how he preform against Teo for example
At first when i saw this might being made I thought to myself ( DIaz is gonna get his ass beat ) After going back and watching Diaz fight against Jason I changed my tone a bit I actually think Diaz has a shot , he's improving looking stronger/sharper at 126 .
I'd say I do , right now one of the fighters i'm most looking forward to coming back from defeat is Verdejo . He had a great interview on the deplaymaker Youtube channel , if he ever puts it all together and finally gets over the hump to win a World Title it'll be very satisfying to watch .
Some people here really underratting Dadashev and Jukembayev . Dadashev was a real good talent god rest his soul and Jukembayev before this fight was #16 on boxrec and #8 on the ring . Had dominant win against Miguel Vazquez former champ who got robbed by Lewis Ritson.
Both fighters are around the same level. Hall of fame type fighters just never quite P4P #1 quality. Although Spence story still not finished, you'd probably have to go with Spence in this one but peak Cotto was badass wouldn't want to bet against him
Good I know a lot of people who have watched these YouTube fights and have been entertained now, it's up to us boxing fans to introduce them to real Boxers who they would enjoy . Advice don't make em watch Shakur fight lol Jose Ramirez-Josh Taylor would've been a great introduction to the sport .
What did ellerbe say?
Also its fvkcin hilarious how people keep calling barrios a world champ. They're already buying the hype
Basically that he's not interested in matching Tank with Taylor cause Josh has nothing to offer. Lmfao
WBA regular=PBC belt. The PBC fighters just get a new one made for them whenever they want to avoid a legit threat. It increases the number of cherry pick fights and makes it easier for somebody like Tank to never face the best
^^^ In this guy's head, Taylor is actually ducking Tank :lol1:
You can put this in your sig, if Tank tries to enforce the mandatory vs Taylor after this, I'll paypal you $100. It's not even a bet as you don't have to do anything when proven wrong, I'm happy to commit to giving away the money as I know there's 0% chance Tank wants the fight. How the hell is a Tank fan questioning the balls of a undisputed champion? Bizarre. Tank loves the meaningless WBA trinkets but not facing the real champ, didn't even have the balls to face Machado he had to bribe the WBA to give him the belt instead.
Do you mean like Tank was cornered because of all the talent at 135 so he went down to 130 to fight a featherweight and now is going up to 140 for a guy who won a vacant paper title by robbery? It's bad enough he ran out of the hottest division in boxing, but now he's in a weaker division can he not just fight one of the top guys for once? He young doe lol...
Couldn't have said it better myself i'll add another $100 on my end too
I'll respect Tank once he fights an actual champion for a non-Mickey-Mouse title to unify in any weight class.
I completely agree with you but honestly Akhmedov would probably be the riskiest fight he's ever had. I'd give him a lil credit .
i can't lie I want Tank to either lose or struggle against Barrios but only because i'm tired of seeing such a great talent cherry pick . Also can't stand Ellerbe especially his comments on Josh Taylor etc. just bad for the sport . Above all is i'm a fan of boxing not just one fighter . Hopefully if he does win like I think he will and easily Tank?Ellerbe can grow a pair and fight the actual champions in their divisions. No more Regular titles
For 3$ this card was worth every penny . Nahir Albright and Danielito Zorilla both with impressive performances . Great match making every fight competitive, no clear winner .
Berlanga's only had one real fight the rest were sparring sessions. He's green as heck right now , no doubt he should improve a lot 2 years from now. I could see him fighting Benavidez in a 50-50 fight but Canelo? Na he's to far ahead
He would have just got countered if he had tried to unload, Usyk's movement was far too slick and Joshua needed to be investing to the body from the clinch a lot more than he did. It looked like for a minute in rounds 5 and 6 that he was starting to get to Usyk, and that came off power punches to the body coming off the clinch, I thought if he kept that up, he will slow Usyk down and then he can let the power shots go.
but then he went back to his weak jab and got his head boxed off again.
Exactly his ass would've got countered left and right . 100% would've got KO'D
Pac/Marquez 3 is the only strong case. Everything else was a close fight.
I'm disappointed that NONE of you called out Barrios/Akmehdov, if we're talking judges, or Hererra/Hinojosa, if we're talking outcomes.
How was Pac-Bradley 1 a close fight? lol watched it recently again just to be sure and Pac dominated him
