Just reminding you peeps about these two cards tomorrow, we got a weak week of boxing this weekend but in my opinion these two cards are better then this Saturday's Mathroom card. Especially if you mix & match them together. MVP's main-event is Nestor Bravo 21-0 vs. Will Madera 17-2-3 in what would be Bravo's best opponent by far. If he wins this I'd be very interested in a Nestor vs. Brandon Lee fight. Rest of the card is full of undefeated vs undefeated prospects. OTX main event is Kurt Scoby 12-0 vs Narciso Carmona 11-0-1. Scoby has looked like a wrecking ball so far interested to see how he does against a fellow undefeated fighter. Money Powell IV 13-1 vs. Shawn McCalaman 13-0 and Javon Campbell 12-1 vs Lorenzo Parra also on tomorrow's (8-18-2023) card

I know this may be Extremely controversial but do we really want to clean the sport up? If it's true that 80/90% of elite fighter are on some form of PED's imagine how talentless the sport would look removing all those fighters. There's literally whole divisions with only 2 or 3 fighters that you can consider elite. Would our new Standard of elite be idk European level? Would we still even watch?

The ESPN card starts at 7pm est , ShoBox 9PM est, ProBox at 9Pm est and DAZN at 7PM est. ShoBox probably has the best card top to bottom but I canceled Showtime so i'll be spliting my time amongst the other 3. The fight to watch on DAZN is Josh Wagner 12-0 vs, Jorge Perez Sanchez 13-2 who is decently ranked Mexican so you know he'll come to fight. Am interested too see if Josh W. has any talent as he'll be one of Canada's United Boxing Promotions main attraction's . The ESPN card will have #42 ranked Heavyweight Simon Kean 21-1 20KO's recently signed by TopRank I'll be intrested to see if he can be a future Jared Anderson opponent and the main event with Christian Mbilli vs DeAndre Ware should be good . DeAndre Ware is a solid low level gate keeper and Mbilli might be the Super Middleweight best kept secret . How interested would you all be if DAZN was able to get both MatchRoom and Golden Boy to work together for cards pitting their fighter's against eachother . Something Similar to what Triller did with Boxing vs. MMA I found that concept to bring more entertainment to the card . Having a team to root for makes things more engaging . Plus seeing Eddie Hearn going at it with Oscar would be entertainment in itself .

Apparently from now on UK will have Daren Barker and Mike Costello instead of Sergio Mora/Chris Manix/Todd. Personally I'm not a big fan of either group but out of the 5 I enjoy Sergio Mora the best . So I'm glad US is sticking to that team . Imo UK commentary is the most biased and boring of em all. Just my opinion tho

Seems like most think Canelo should win easy or comfortably like he did against Plant. I see this as an almost 50-50 fight Bivol has all the skills Plant had ontop of the power that Plant didn't.

Was watching TruGeordie and Bisping talk about Jake-Woodley fight . Somewhere in the video TruGeordie mentioned how he watched the Chisora-Parker card and that he was unimpressed that those two were supposedly top 10 fighters at Heavyweight. Stated that in an UFC card normally throughout the entire card is high-level guys . Boxing lacks that and that's why Jake Paul can capitalized on it . According to him the standards in boxing is lower then in MMA . Therefore easier for Jake to thrive You guys think there's any truth to that? Or does he just not know the sport in and out. I for one think there is some truth to it but at the same time he's highly overrating MMA fighter's I've seen top 10 Heavyweights fight in UFC and was highly unimpressed myself. I do think theres some truth to the depth of talent in MMA tho . Mostly cause the mid level guys in MMA can actually make a living in the sport and dedicate time to honing their skills . Rather then work a Full-time job like many if not all mid=level boxers do .

As much as I dislike Triller for the Evander Holyfield debacle , their TrillerVerz series has been really enjoyable so far. Every fight is 50-50 or close to it and in result most fights are entertaining . Not only that but they actually interview each fighter before and after the fight which ESPN , DAZN etc dont. Instead commentators ramble on . I rather get to know the fighter's and have a more personal connection to them therefore care about the result of the fight . Honestly for Hardcore boxing fans out there $2.99 for consistent 50-50 fights against solid fighters Like ( Petros A. , Zorilla , Nahir Albright ) all potential World Title challengers isn't to bad of a deal . It's refreshing seeing competitive fights

If Berlanga improves and looks impressive against Marcelo Coceres ranked #35 ( Guy who was arguably beating BJS ) will that change your perception of him or at least start too? If not what will David Lemieux?

Really curious to hear what you all think Tank's best wins are and how each fighter ranked at the time he fought them . To me and pretty much everyone else his best 3 wins are as follows. ( in no order) 1.) Pedraza at the time he fought him was a champion at 130 , was earlier on in his career tho he's improved since. I'd say at the time Tank fought him he was a solid B- level boxer right now B . 2.) Barrios he's never defeated a top 50 opponent and most had him losing to Batyr . I'd rate him B- size difference is only reason fight was competitive. 3.) Leo at lower weight classes he was deff B+ish but at 130 he only had one fight against Miguel Flores and struggled. I'd Say B- at best B at 130 . Those are his best wins yet there are people who rate him top 10 P4P and even say he'd beat Josh Taylor. When he struggled against an infinitely inferior opponent in Barrios. So my question is ... am i tripping does he deserve to be top 10 P4P and why? Or is he overrated, Personally I think he has enough talent to be top 10 P4P just hasn't done anything in the ring to prove it.
