are you crazy? Pacquiao started his career at 106 pounds. Its a miracle that he's even fighting and knocking people out at 130.
Which is why ALOT of people think hes cheating.
This post says it all.
Oh shit that is awesome that means Pac took even more of a bigger risk and has even more of bigger since damn near everybody including had Oscar beating him...
You say you will give credit for Floyd ebatng Shane.
Umm didnt Shane win by HUGE KO one YEAR ago. Isnt he 38?
Oscar KO'd Mayorga ONE YEAR before he fought Floyd at 154 at what age again???
Thats right YOUNGER THEN SHANE.
What gives.
i have no problem with floyd vs marquez. I like the fight. Its a pretty risky fight to take as comeback fight imo. Especially with his inactivity. I thought floyd would have had no trouble with castillo and an aged dlh, but the fights were a lot more competitive than i expected. some say castillo won. I dont, but still...
lets be real isn't floyd just a bum with a good defence?
I think so. getting pwned by j l castillo? mosley in his prime would of aired that bitch out.
Lets be real this guy is emanuel burton with a good d.....the truth.
wow.
Smh.

Marquez probably wont win though unless he reverts back to the less aggressive JMM that was more patient. If he goes after Floyd the way he has been doing recently against Barrera,Pacquiao 2 he will be beat comfortably.
You gotta favour Floyd, but Marquez is a live opponent for a warm up imo. It will look good on Floyd's resume as far as im concerned. If Floyd beats Marquez THEN goes on to beat Pac. I will seriously start thinking about giving the dude some props, allthough to put an exclamation mark on it he would ideally fight Marquez/Pac and Cotto.
You praise Floyd for a 36 year old Lightweight. But you dont want to give him credit for fighting the BEST fighter at 147???
WOW.
he definitely does get hit a tad much these days (big part of why i think Floyd'll take it), but i think there's no way he gets Floyd to fight on the front foot until the latter half. simply not happening no matter which style he uses
i can see this being a really cool style match-up... technical but not "boring" like Floyd fights have been touted in the past
yeah, i'm gonna be slightly favouring JMM... he will finally one-up Pacquiao and get the ratings he deserves
be like a fairytale
You will get banned from the Mafia for this.
lol j/k
Victor should call out Manny. I say put him on the undercard of the Hatton fight against Malignaggi or David Diaz at 140lbs. Then set up a fight between him and Manny (cuz Manny will KO Hatton). It could be sold as revenge for Golden Boy, since Oscar is Victor's ho and only he should be able to black that ho's eye. WTF was Manny thinking when he lumped up that biaotch's face. Victor should have a word with that boy.
The Mexicutioning would stop with Victor Ortiz!
Now ur a Manny nut hugger.
So you dont give Floyd props for beating Shane the Number 3 P4P and Pac the Number 1 P4P.
Yet you made a thread giving Floyd credit for fighting JMM.
The Art of Trolling.
So Haye has to fight the winner of Meehan-Some Guy?
Gee whiz! Did anybody see this coming..........
Haye should hold on to his belt and establish his name in the rankings.
I decided to make this thread in commemoration to the history of wonderful boxingscene posters who never seem to amaze me with the long list amazing things floyd hasnt done and will not do...
So I hope this list of the top 48 most memorable Floyd threads meets you guys pleasure...

Roach to politics-bound Pacquiao: "Beat Mayweather before retiring"
09/24/2009 | 07:50 PM
Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao is bent on running for office that he’s set his eyes on retiring next year.
But his long-time trainer Freddie Roach has one piece of advice to his politics-bound ward: Beat Floyd Mayweather, Jr. first in an ultimate battle for the mythical P4P title before hanging up your gloves.
“I would like (Manny) to finish with beating Mayweather," Roach said in an interview in Baguio City, where Team Pacquiao is encamped for the Pacman’s training for his upcoming fight with Miguel Cotto.
Pacquiao reasserted his decision to vie for a congressional seat next year, a sign that he was ready to call it a day insofar as his illustrious boxing career is concerned.
"Buo na ang pasya ko. Talagang tatakbo ako," Pacquiao told mediamen at the Baguio City Hall Thursday, when he paid Mayor Reinaldo Bautista, Jr. a courtesy call.
“I will be announcing that (candidacy). Alam mo, kung magserbisyo ka sa mga tao, serbisyo talaga yan e. Ayaw na sana ako palabanin ng mama at pamilya ko. Sabi niya noon, last na yung kay (Ricky) Hatton, sabi ko hindi kasi malayo pa naman ang eleksyion. Pwede pa ako lumaban."
Roach said he would not dissuade his prized pupil from pursuing his political plans and turning his back on boxing.
"I have no problem if he retires. What more can he ask for? He is the greatest fighter of all time," Roach said.
But of course, such greatness won’t be complete without one of the best fighters in this era – Mayweather – in Pacquiao's list of victims. - GMANews.TV

:grumble::grumble::grumble:
BURNER I never said it was going to be a tough fight my man. I picked Gamboa right out of the gate. 25 and others thought it would be a tough fight. I think 25 thought Mtagwa might even beat Gamboa. My honest thought when we talked it over and I can probably get you the show # and time to go listen is that Gamboa was going to KO Mtagwa. He did it a little bit faster than I predicted but that was my thought. As far as tailor made speed was no where near comparable and Gamboa is much stronger than mostly anyone at 122-130. I thinkMtagwa's fight against Juanma was at 122lbs right? he did not look anywhere near the size of Gamboa. Do not get me wrong I am not saying it was not a great W I am just aying style wise it was or should have been a easy fight.
Juanma is more balanced he don't have blazing speed or the punches you don't see coming like Gamboa throws. I can hardily wait until they fight...Lefty
They next fights gon be crazy.
Gamboa fighting in Germany March 27th. Then he fighting C.C. in June.
Lopez suppose to fight Concepeion or Santaiago in June...........then Lopez fighting Rafa in September.
You have to be of the same ethnicity to be a fan of a fighter?
I don't know, maybe thats just a Puerto Rican thing.
But I happen to like fighters from all over, Gamboa and Juanma being two of them.
I think Gamboa has the potential to reach a Manny Pac type of following. His style is sick. He will have fans from all over.
An inactive Oscar at 154 was a risk? OK....
Moving up to 154 Pounds was a risk. No need for HATE. Floyd is small as shit and weighed 148 Pounds on the scales.
He was in a little ring.
With little gloves.
Fighting the biggest hardest puncher he ever faced.
Oscar was also well over 160 Pounds.
Thats a risk.
Of course you going to have your nation backing you up but like you said KO's gets fanbase...
I am not a boricua and Tito became my favorite fighter back in 1993 when I saw him KO Blocker in San Diego...
Tyson had a huge fanbase...
Pac right now is my favorite active fighter and I am not Pinoy...
So if Gamboa keep having this kind of victories where millions are watching then yes he will have a huge fan base and will be able to bring fans from anywhere...
This is exactly what I was saying. Im black in Michigan and some of my favorites right now are Rigondeaux, Gamboa, Hasegawa, and Alvarez.
Im black: Gamboa and Rigondeaux are Cuban. Hasegawa is Japanese. Alvarez is mexican.
Gamboa will be a MEGASTAR. He will put asses in seats. No need for Arum to rush either of them into fighting each other.
RJJ is my favorite fighter. You can use those same qualities to describe Manny Pacquiao. Style wise I don't see it.
Are you kidding Pac doesnt have half the natural talent, athletic ability, skills or reflexes of Gamboa. Get real.
Nobody in this thread would say NONE of the stuff about Paulie Malignagii to his face.NONE of yall.
I seen the dude at a bar in Detroit. He is not a bitch by any stretch of the imagination.
nah......
lopez will own.
gamboa is overrated.
Time will tell. They both have fights lined up.
Gamboa-March 27th in Germny vs. TBA
Gamboa vs. C.C. in June.
Lopez vs. Cocepicon/Santiago in June.
Lopez vs. Marquez-Vazquez winner in September.
I'm more tired of people comparing Gamboa to Roy Jones Jr. and Tyson.
If you ever watched Roy Jones. You can easily see the simalarities.
Insane Reflexes.
Insane Handspeed.
Insane Power in both hands.
Insane Footwork.
Insane Punch arsenal.
Insane Confidence.
Insane athletic ability.
Insane Coordination.
Insane Skills.
gamboa aint no joke!!!
but juanma is not a walk in the park for him!! it's gonna be a good fight!!
pero voy al mio!!! lets go juanma!
I have great respct for Lopez and hes very good and he will whoopp alot of ass in his career. I think Gamboa is the once a generation type of fighter. No disrespect to JuanMa.
James Toney and Edwin Valero are two other guys who I wouldn't say anything negative to...
Add Hopkins, Mayorga, Judah, Vargas and Barerra to that list.
