Speaking with Kugan Cassius, the promoter admitted the offer to fight the flame haired Mexican was being considered. “We’re contemplating an offer from Alvarez. We’re looking at that, we’ll think about it and see where we go.” Canelo No specific details were given but Warren continued “We’ll see, I’m not going to get in too much detail – It’s a big fight for Liam and there’s other big fights out there for him. HBO did pretty good ratings per ESPN Middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez's massive one-punch knockout of Amir Khan in the sixth round on May 7 in Las Vegas got a tremendous amount of publicity, and people who had read or heard about it -- but didn't buy the HBO pay-per-view card -- were eager to see it. HBO's replay of the fight on Saturday night averaged 767,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.
