Yeah sure he did. His was within a few rounds of achieving his life dream, and took a dive to end it.
That punch could have smashed the brains out of his head it was so savage. No wonder he was so scrambled.
Floyd could seriously kill this guy. I'm worried for him. He is going to mercilessly beat the living **** out of McGregor on Saturday night. And when it looks like the ref is about to jump in and stop it, probably by about that the third round, Floyd will beg and plead to let him continue until McGregor is puking up blood and fighting for life.
I just don't trust this event ... the whole thing seems so staged I'm uncomfortable betting any real $$ on it
Yes I feel the same, and we all know plenty of suspect things have happened in boxing down the years with money being the primary believed motivator.
Mayweather is going to earn in excess of $100million from this fight. If he loses, he'll easily earn even more than $100million in the rematch. Is an extra $100-$150million worth the price of sacrificing a perfect professional boxing record? I hope not, but if I was in his shoes I can imagine there might be some temptation - even though it would be highly illegal behavior and could have very serious repercussions if somehow proven.
Clearly Mayweather doesn't feel like he has enough money yet which is why he himself gambles excessively on sport, he wants to make even more money. And it why he is coming out of retirement to have this fight.
Do I think Mayweather would actually throw this fight to earn another $150million in 4-6 months? I don't think he would, but I certainly wouldn't be willing to risk any of my own money betting on it. :)
No literally, there is more money on Mayweather.
Are you retarded? What don't you understand?
Some British bookies claim they will get absolutely shot to pieces if Mayweather loses. But I don't believe this **** for one moment.
If it were true what they are claiming that almost all the money is with McGregor, they would be a lot more interested in enticing punters to back Mayweather at much bigger odds to balance their books. The vig is how the successful operators make their money regardless of outcomes.
I've had a look tonite and the bookies in Britain are shortening the odds on Mayweather. Odds shortening on Mayweather is not a market move you'd be seeing if 90% of the money was with McGregor.
Wilder is a coward, all talk no action.
BS. That glass chin on Joshua is why his promoter is desperately trying to put obstacles in front of the unification fight. Once Deontay lands one on Joshua its lights out for a month.
Fanboys are fanboys. Wilder fanboys are just as annoying as fanboys of other fighters. Wilder fanboys keep on spreading lies that UK fans generally speaking don't want Wilder vs AJ to happen. I'm 100% sure that most people who follow boxing in the UK would love to see Wilder vs AJ as soon as possible.
If you are British and hate AJ then you definitely want it to happen. Deontay would destroy that glass chin inside 3 rounds.
Hearn doesn't want to risk AJ losing to Deontay until he's milked his man for another easy PPV first. In his mind, the Parker right is his risk - he wins on Saturday then Hearn thinks he's earned the right to enjoy an easy pay day next before risking it all against Deontay.
Deontay sure isn't ducking the fight. He knows Hearn has no intention of giving him the showdown with AJ until next year. Deontay doesn't want to get sucked into Whyte trap because that rewards Hearn for keeping AJ away.
There's a reason Wilder is chasing AJ and not the other way around
Yes there's a reason - Wilder wants the fight and AJ wants to runaway from the fight.
What's missing is a US fan base. Only the UK fans are excited about this fight.
Hearn has a strong stable of British fighters like that. As soon as they come up against a classy fighter known in the US they get destroyed. I think there's a good chance the same will happen to Joshua when he eventually fights Deontay.
Financially. Around 30-35% is more than fair for Wilder.
Even Hearn has admitted Wilder would deserve more than Parker. The argument is over how much more. 50/50 is not unreasonable given the fight will be in Vegas and most of the money will be American.
BOMBSQUAD easily wins round 2 there.... point deduction then gave him more hope of coming back.... but corner decided to end the fight prematurely before the lethal right killed Fury. Rematch will settle it.
Yeah he was gonna make a miraculous comeback in the 8th round hey? I hope this is satire otherwise you are delusional.
No chance Fury could keep the pace for 12 rounds..... he was already slowin in 7th. Deontay easily had the path back into that fight when Fury was dead on feet.
Wilder hurt his leg getting in that dumbass space suite. LMFAO. Next suit he should come out in should be clown suit.
But really...He had no problem showing his hand surgery. Lets see how public he is about his leg injury...(fake ass leg INJURY)
He fought as a warrior wit dem injuries dude. No excuses he still should beat that fat English gypsy ting, even with one hand, but the rematch will be revenge KOD by BOMBSQUAD.
We're still here.
Rematch will be triggered. Let's see Fury handle the power when Deontay has no injuries before the fight. This trilogy will have a devastating end for gypsy ting.
Joshua only fights bums. His team have no interest in fighting the champion who holds the most prestigious belt of them all. They won’t go near Fury either.
Haye is the best heavyweight the division has seen in a long time. He will win on Saturday night, I have not even a tiny doubt. Klits will both be kissing the canvas when they step into the ring with a genuine classy fighter such as the Hayemaker.
A lot of people are going to be surprised (and a lot poorer) when they see this fight go the distance tonight. Odds of 3.85 for the fight to go 12 rounds are very generous.
Save your money. Khan will wipe this Argentine journeyman out within 4 rounds. This fight is a huge mismatch and not competitive at all. Khan's people have no interest in risking a loss yet against anyone who could seriously hurt him.
All you stupid xenophobic Brits who would root for Amir Khan to defeat Jesus Christ himself exasperate me.
If Amir wasn't British you would call him a piece of dog excrement.
Well there is absolutely no doubt Khan is winning tonight. As a Brit, I concede Khan is completely overrated, overhyped and going nowhere but down once he faces another serious opponent.
But I'm not going to miss out on the opportunity to cash in on a mismatch like tonight's when the odds are so good.
How much did you lose when Khan was 16-1 over Prescott?
I made a pretty penny on your boy getting smoked out like a rank amateur.
I didn't bet on that fight. But I'm definitely getting in on this one.
Maidana is the very definition of a rank amateur. He has no business sharing a ring with a classy fighter like Khan. I'm only paying for this ****ty PPV tonight to see my bet home.
I'm telling you without a shadow of doubt even money on a Khan KO will look like the bet of the century within 12 minutes of this fight.
