I think Khan is probably going to outbox Maidana, possibly even KO him in the mid-late rounds. But 4-1 is not a bad deal considering Maidana packs a hell of a punch and Khan's chin is highly suspect. He hasn't faced this kind of power before, and if he gets caught it could be lights out. Anyone else think it's worth taking a shot?
PS- Khan has a similiar style to Kotelnik, and Maidana was able to find Kotelnik's chin a few times in their fight. Not saying Khan isn't bette than Kotelnik, but if Maidana can find his chin like he did Andres', he has a good shot to KO Khan. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
All you stupid xenophobic Brits who would root for Amir Khan to defeat Jesus Christ himself exasperate me.
If Amir wasn't British you would call him a piece of dog excrement.
Well there is absolutely no doubt Khan is winning tonight. As a Brit, I concede Khan is completely overrated, overhyped and going nowhere but down once he faces another serious opponent.
But I'm not going to miss out on the opportunity to cash in on a mismatch like tonight's when the odds are so good.
lol you do as you put in 200$ and you can only get 100$ back. It's actually pretty stupid to place double bets in opposite outcomes.
No I get $300 profit if Maidana knocks out Amir Khan. If Khan does that, I do not lose anything.
Once again, I'm not looking to get rich off of gambling, it just adds another level of excitement when watching the fight.
How much did you lose when Khan was 16-1 over Prescott?
I made a pretty penny on your boy getting smoked out like a rank amateur.
I didn't bet on that fight. But I'm definitely getting in on this one.
Maidana is the very definition of a rank amateur. He has no business sharing a ring with a classy fighter like Khan. I'm only paying for this ****ty PPV tonight to see my bet home.
I'm telling you without a shadow of doubt even money on a Khan KO will look like the bet of the century within 12 minutes of this fight.
So that's why Amir was allowed by his people to move up to light-welterweight, currently a far superior division to lightweight.
All you Yank racists really exasperate me.

I have $100 riding on that, plus a bunch of smaller wagers on rounds, handicaps, etc.
But I am straddling that with Khan KO for another $100 at even odds. So even if Khan TKO's Maidana I don't lose anything.
No outcome is going to make me rich, even if I get the knock out round correct, but its something fun I like to do. Certainly never bet if you can't afford to lose the money.

Save your money. Khan will wipe this Argentine journeyman out within 4 rounds. This fight is a huge mismatch and not competitive at all. Khan's people have no interest in risking a loss yet against anyone who could seriously hurt him.

Yes I'm British.
Maidana has no defence and will be a human punch bag for Khan to put on a bit of an exhibition for four rounds.
In terms of betting I make Khan a 1 to 20 on shot (1.05) to win this. So the current odds are very, very generous for a Khan victory in my book.
I'm on a Khan KO at even money for a grand.

Fact remains that Maidana has some serious power, even though his boxing skills are somewhat primitive. If Khan gets lazy, drops his gloves and gets caught, he could get dropped. I think the opportunity could easily present itself where Khan is hurting Maidana, and trying to impress the crowd, Khan goes in for a kill while forgetting how hard Maidana can crack. This could present Maidana with a golden opportunity. I think if he is smart he can use that to his advantage.
4-1 are ridiculous odds for a Maidana KO. They should be much, much closer than that.
It's 5.5-1 here at Mandalay Bay.
Bunch of Khan fans and very few Maidana fans are skewing the odds.
When Maidana knocks out this fraud I am gonna be rich.
Save your money, Khan is too fast and too pretty. The only reason Ortiz lost to Maidana is cuz he was bangin face to face, Khan aint gonna do that he is gonna run and stay on the outside using his reach
lol some ppl should research boxing...Khan is no idiot, plus he has Roach

Are you British?
I got 5.5-1 on the Maidana KO right here as the casino so I wouldn't take 4-1 just because you should be getting a better price.
Then again, there are a bunch of Brits here betting on Khan just cause he's British so maybe that's why the odds are better.
