America always raising the bar when it comes to corrupt officiating in Boxing. I wonder how many rounds out of the 12 he was paid to give to Wilder. Is it a, "you gotta find at least 6 rounds for Deontay" kinda deal? :lol1:
I gave rd 2 to Wilder whilst watching it live. Have rewatched it now, and rescored all rounds to Fury. The late flurry from Fury in rd 2 edged it for me
Haha, you know you're my dawg. I felt sick all weekend bro, ain't gonna lie.
I've been listening to Annie Lennox 'WHY' all day W1LL -- I dont think you know what I feel. Ive been in bed since waking up, I cant find the strength to heat up my Hot-Pockets or a Jimmy John breakfast Meat-lovers bowl and its midnight already but I'm still hungry.
I don't think I'm going to work, I'm calling in sick ; the fellas at the office are going to provoke me to knocking one of them out -- If I dont get my neighbor first.

Not right now W1LL! I nearly cracked my neighbor right on the jaw a few minutes ago, if he keeps teasing me about Tyson Fury's victory I'm liable to knock him out cold and shout this is for BOMBSQUAD!!!
We will dance again bitches! I promise you that!

The only 2 people on the planet who gave Wilder a round... Glenn Feldman, and 1hourRun who had it 56-55 to Wilder at the time of stoppage. :lol1:

It shows intent. If a car crashes and you find a murder kit in the trunk and a date on the guys phone to go meet some girl, you don’t say “what’s it matter that he had a murder kit? No harm, no foul. Irrelevant”. It’s very relevant. You got to get that guy off the streets.
You never know man could be he uses that as a party gag or something
I’ll have to rewatch the fight but I’m fairly sure that Wilder lost every round. People saying otherwise sounds like the last gasp of some dying fanboys reaching for a small victory.
:pat:
Did you read my comment about it? Means nothing if it was 6-1 for Fury in a 7 round fight where Wilder was totally dominated and stopped.
I was at a sports bar with four people at our table and we all gave the second to Wilder.
Went back and watched it again today and he landed like 5 right hands as well as some jabs (head and body) and Fury had like one decent punch at the end (the rest on arms and gloves).
I still think Wilder won it. It was close enough to argue either way but he seemed to edge it. I don’t see how it’s corrupt or controversial.
I gave Wilder round 2. His body punches landed solid every time he threw and he caught Fury with an overhand. That was the only round I gave him.
Yeah that was the round where wilder landed all of his power shots, wasn’t it? (Jabs to the body)
2nd. I thought it was a fairly swingy round personally.....
Only watched it once, but I recall thinking Wilder was winning the second and fury threw a late flurry at the end of the round. Rounds like that always seem to split among judges.
The first round is arguable
Wilder did land two right hands, and Fury’s jab was probably his biggest contribution
It’s bad judging, but I could see how some would score the first for Wilder
The 2nd round, I dunno. Wilder didn’t land anything of note, and Fury dominated the pace, and the action
Yeah it was a pretty even round then Fury landed a couple of blows right at the end that shook Wilder to his core
More than just Wilder. Fury shook boxing to the core with those shots.
:boxing:
Nah, Fury won it. People try to give Wilder too much credit for landing a punch, yea he landed a right hand, and maybe a jab, or two, Fury also did, except he clearly landed more too.
Eh..... Pretty lopsided fight. No need for people to worry if someone shaded a close round to the guy who was stopped.....
Listening to ThaBoxingVoice live reaction atm.
The host thinks Wilder won the first two rounds and was winning the third until the knockdown. Can’t continue listening to this.
Lol why the hell are you listening to ThaBoxingVoice?
No chance Fury could keep the pace for 12 rounds..... he was already slowin in 7th. Deontay easily had the path back into that fight when Fury was dead on feet.
Ah okay so you wanted to see Wilder get KO'd by count out or stumbling around rather than TKO. Some fan you are.
Yeah he was gonna make a miraculous comeback in the 8th round hey? I hope this is satire otherwise you are delusional.

BOMBSQUAD easily wins round 2 there.... point deduction then gave him more hope of coming back.... but corner decided to end the fight prematurely before the lethal right killed Fury. Rematch will settle it.

Round two was pretty much the only fairly competitive round for about 2 mins, but Fury landed bigger shots right at the end. I say competitive in the sense it was the one round he wasn’t embarrassed. Still a Fury round really.
Some tried to give him round 1 just because he threw one right hand that Fury rode.

Pretty sure if it would have went longer Bayless would have taken another point of Fury and looking to DQ him.
Fury had to go for the KO or the officials would have robbed him again.
