These "vaccines" aren't fully FDA approved still. They aren't 100% effective. The long term side effects are unknown. You can still get COVID-19 after getting the jab. The companies producing them don't have the best track records. The companies producing them have immunity if they harm and all vaccines harm some individuals. There's a 99% survival rate of COVID-19. Natural antibodies are just as good if not better than those from vaccines. Most vaccines use aborted fetal cell stuff(cells, cell lining, etc...). There are tons of bad side effects and even death already from these COVID-19 "vaccines." People that speak out about their harm from these "vaccines" are being censored. There is a creepy push with weird incentives for these "vaccines." And at the end of the day it's their body and their choice.
But here is the thing. There may be a 1% fatality rate for you, but 20% for you unvaccinated elderly relative and 5% for your vaccinated elderly relative. I do not wish to expose my elderly relatives to unnecessary risk. Also, COVID will clog up hospital for years unless most of us over 40 have a vaccine which is now the case in the UK and hence back to normal. So put aside personal choice and take one for the team.
I have 1 grandparent left. My Pap already has cancer and does chemo. He's in his 80's and does what he wants still. If I was sick I wouldn't go around him. If he wanted me to wear a mask around him I would but he knows they don't really do sheeit. Other elder relatives I don't give a sheeit. I will never get a COVID-19 or flu vaccine. What you are spouting is illusory truth effect nonsense.
I am 34 and very healthy. I never had the flu and haven't been sick since I was a young teenager. I eat/drink right and exercise. I will NEVER put aside my personal choice and take one for the team. My health comes 1st and I will do as I please with my health. Cowardly sheeple's fear will never sway me. My doctor has advised me to not get any vaccine since I am so healthy. On the rare case I get COVID-19 he has therapeutics to give me. I will give a lead vaccine to anyone trying to force me into taking a vaccine or produce any Nazi type of papers.
'if I am sick' assumes you are symptomatic which at you age and health is likely if you get Covid. So don't inadvertently give it to your old man. As for 'What you are spouting is illusory truth effect nonsense', what are you referring to? I don't lie.
He got chinned by a rookie AJ, chinned by a 40+yr old Povetkin, dropped and badly hurt by non-heavyweight Rivas, was out on his feet against a timid Parker, stumbling around the ring like he was drunk, if the fight went on another 10 seconds he would've got stopped. Stunk out the place and lost multiple rounds to shot journeyman Wach. Lost to Chisora, then rematched him and was comfortably losing again until the ref started getting involved for no reason and took points away from Del, forcing him to open up to look for a stoppage and thus leaving himself exposed. Fought an injured out of shape Helenius and stank the place again, and outboxed well known bum Lucas Browne who was depressed and didn't do any training.
I'd give the Parker-Chisora winner a title shot over this guy.
One of 2 people he has beat. That makes sense!
135 is crying out for a super six type of thing, that would sort things out
It would be brilliant, but Teo's dad has indicated he has maybe one more fight left in him at 135 after Kambosses. Likely Haney to resolve the undisputed.
Fury must be in his best shape to deal with Usyk.
He is going to have to be in his best shape to get past Whyte before Usyk. I think Whyte beats that Fury. Wilder's power comes from range (e.g. right hand that put Fury down). Fury closing the gap kept him relatively safe. Closing the gap against Whyte is asking for it.
Devils advocate: Rivas who got robbed by juiced Whyte is now bridgerweight champ, while Whyte blatantly shamelessly ducked Wallin after talking tons of sht about countless other fighters & crucifying them for far less.
Wbc allows a champion from lower division to get immediate shot at the champ if they move up.
Thoughts?
How does that help Wilder. Fury / White now removes a WBC headache and Wilder can face the undisputed winner at the end of 2022 / early 2023. Why would the WBC do Fury a favour
The easiest way for the WBC to continue licking Wilder's arse is to make sure Fury and Whyte fight now, before an undisputed fight. This enables Wilder to knock over a can on his return in May 2022, certainly not Ruiz. There will be an undisputed 1 fight late summer 2022. There will be a rematch of the undisputed 1 fight in 2023, however, the WBC will strip the undisputed 1 fight winner for not fighting their no. 1 Wilder next. So it is Wilder v Helenius at the end of 2022 for the WBC!
Maybe they would but none of them seem to be in any rush to prove that. This era of American fighters seem to be happy with theoretical fights with theoretical results rather than just getting in a ring and proving it.
And the American fans want to mock fighters like Dillian Whyte for taking tough fights and losing them just before he gets his title chances. No wonder American Boxing is now seen as a bit of a joke.
You can't tar all American's with the same brush. I am not a fan of Wilder but he took a rematch against a guy that kicked the shit out of him previously and produced a great fight. But there is definitely a culture of taking chances in the UK and the fans respecting that; and coming out to support in huge numbers fighters who may have an L or two.
I don't lol. 140 is tied up and who is there for him to fight? Nobody heard of him till now and America won't care about him. Would people go to Spain to fight him?
Not tied up. I don't see Taylor ducking anybody.
Fury just fought a guy who is 10x better and more dangerous than Shyte, so why would he be scared?
Because Whyte beats Fury, that simple. Fury closing the distance to Whyte and fighting on the inside only ends one way -> KO of Fury. And he can't just dance around as Whyte will just charge in being prepared to take one to give one.
Yes. Anyone who beats Dillian Whyte is automatically a top 10 ATG in my book. Forget about the Cruiserweight and the guy who lost to Fat Andy.:lol1:
..More seriously I don't really deal in subjective tosh like 'ATG'. Let the boxing historians of the future argue over that nonsense when all those fighting today are well retired and we can get a more objective perspective on the full careers of not just the fighter in question but the complete picture on their opponents too. Too many biases at play - in both directions - to make a sober appraisal of any any active fighter relative to past greats.
By my estimation Fury is the best Heavyweight right now however and if he can beat Usyk, Joshua and Whyte and a coupla other mid top 10 dudes then I'd probably put him above Wlad which is pretty good going, but how many people got Wlad in their top 5 all time?
I like this comment. You can only beat fighters of your generation. Nobody can criticise Joshua for trying to. Fury has been amazing for coming back but yet to establish himself as the dominant heavyweight of his era but he has the opportunity to. Wilder has the opportunity to establish himself as a great fighter (not boxer) of the era with the minor blemish of one guy having his number. Usyk has proved himself worthy. Whyte has proved himself worthy of being in the mix but has to fight Aj/Usyk/Fury/Wilder and it is hardly for lack of trying. Ruiz off his snickers addiction is a danger to anybody. These are exciting times in the heavyweight division.
Whyte sucks. You can't get knocked out by a 40 year old Povetkin and expect to be in contention for a title fight, regardless of winning the rematch with Povetkin. Wilder was given a pass for ducking him, so I don't want to hear Whyte's name mentioned as a true contender again. If he wants a title shot he should have to win an eliminator with someone like Ruiz or Joyce.
Fury should attempt to unify with winner of Usyk/AJ rematch. Hopefully take a stay-busy fight between now and then, but he likely won't.
Whyte beats Fury.
Agreed, it's been a long time since I've seen Fury look so defensively vulnerable.
He needs the head movement and herky-jerky style back for Usyk.
He'll need it back for Whyte as trading with him up close is only going to end one way.
Usually I do this for the US crowd, but this will be PPV in the UK as well, so they can vote here as well.
I personally can't wait! That card is stacked with names and has some really intriguing bouts. Definitely a yes for me!
The only problem we in the UK have is the time difference; 4am?
Who is hiding? I'm right here. I typically only bet fights when I have inside info about a fighter partying too much or the judges being on the take. Kudos to Fury for winning despite partying during camp. Every wager is a calculated risk. Can't win them all.
Deluded loser. Get help.
AJ has great movement and technique for a heavyweight, maybe no. 3 behind Fury and Usyk. But you don't rely on this if fighting one of Fury or Usyk. He is streets ahead in terms of strength and power of these two and therefore should be using those attributes. And I would say he has a chance in the rematch if he does. But maybe Whyte is right, no dog left.
Joshua has already had far more success than possible to be a hype job. He could go 0-10 in his next 10 fights and still not be a hype job.
Overrated? By a lot of people, yes.
But he is a solid heavyweight who has beaten some very good fighters, Hype Jobs are prospects who blow away tomato cans and lose to their first legit opponent, Jeff Lacy was a hype job, Seth Mitchell was a hype job, Victor Oriz and Andre Berto were hype jobs, James Kirkland was a hype job.
Joshua has 2 losses, one avenged and one to the P4P number 1 so it's not that bad is it.
Joshua was a unified world champion with multiple defences, if he was a hype job he would have lost to Takam, Parker, klitschko, Pulev. Those guys are all decent and capable of wins at top 10 level
That is just too rational for this forum!
Taylor has a ibf mandatory of his own in december anyway, so a teofimo fight wouldnt be possible until april at the earliest.
Teofimo not having the ibf belt means nothing to Taylor. Teofimo wasnt undisputed anyway. Money will determine if taylor sticks around 140 for lopez or moves up to 147. Not belts
Taylor is comfortable at 140. If Teomfimo struggles with the weight, it is the only title fight for him at 140.
Otto is a bigger name now than he was then. Was he even ranked top 30 when Fury fought him? Nobody had heard of the guy. The fact you hold Whyte (who everyone calls a bum) to the same standard as Fury speaks volumes too.
82 in boxrec when Fury announced he was fighting him
In the early part of his career, he has been high risk, low reward. But now for an IBF final eliminator, he is high risk, high reward. Especially for any IBF top 15 who is not going to get an AJ shot otherwise.
We (the UK) have had **** all terrorism in this country in numbers compared to US funded IRA terrorism which killed 00s a year. Generally a few easily led, misfit dickheads that every country has. McVey?
Brazealle is as easy a mamdatory as Wilder could have. And I still fancy him over Wilder. But chicken legs doesn't have to fight a mamdatory next. So he will dodge Brazealle, fight Seri Seferi or the like then sign the AJ contract and cash out in April when he gets battered.
if wilder didn't want to fight all he had to do was drop that belt.....
did that happen?
What drop his only belt? Not the sharpest tool in the box are you?
