Kell Brook seems to have been really badly promoted through out his career. He should have been a multi-weight world champion by now, he has been a professional longer then most of his peers. Yet his career has been conducted in slow motion. Probably needs to sign with Al Haymon to make things happen for him.
I thought since Brook went with Hearn he'd get bigger fights but bar the Porter fight, he's done nothing. I just think it's down to him, he hasn't got the mental strength to be a player at that level.
It's not a bad idea to be honest. Also in Khan's case it lets Floyd get a little older, a little slower, a little more "shopworn" to an extent. Plus it gives Khan another fight at a weight before he (in all honestly it does look like it's going to happen) fights Floyd.
Would prefer a Porter/Maidana fight as Guerrero seems to have just disappeared off the map since his loss against Floyd. What's going on with him btw?

Well just checked Boxrec and according to that site he's fighting Yoshihiro Kamegai on the 21st June.

Yup. Such a shame as he's one of my favourite fighters and he seems a top guy as well but last night was tough to watch.
I was hoping his body would hold it together for one final hurrah but it really does seem that came against Chavez Jr.
He's nothing left to prove IMO and he's had a fantastic career considering how late he started.
Who really gives a **** if Froch is number #1 or #2 in the division? No doubt Ward is the better boxer and would probably beat Froch again but end of the day Froch is active, is fighting in big fights and selling out arena's while Ward is in disputes with his promoters.
I'm sure Froch is quite content with going out there and doing his thing in front of 80,000 people while Ward sits at home and twiddles his thumbs.
Whether #1 or #2, Froch is the "money man" and "hottest commodity" at Super Middleweight.
Ward, right now IMO, is just not relevant.
After thinking about all the circumstances, I give Canelo his due credit.
His record could have been even better by now, remember when he was scheduled to fight Paul Williams but the fight never got made due to The Punisher suffering a terrible bike accident that left him paralyzed?
Then, he was about to fight Ortiz in what could have been a hell of a fight only to have those plans spoiled by Lopez, and to Canelo's credit he was a man of his word and fought the winner.
Also, he was on his way to fight Cotto for a big money fight, only to have those plans derailed by Trout? To his credit, he went on to fight Trout which most thought he'd lose to and ended up beating him in a close fight.
After all that, he went on to fight The P4P King, no shame in losing to TBE, and went on to redeem himself by beating the living crap out of a game Angulo. He's now facing the man EVERYBODY accused him of ducking. Can't knock the kid...he is doing what Oscar De La Hoya and other ATG's did to be considered legends.

Well hopefully with Khan looking to move up to 147, hopefully him & ortiz will get it on. That could be a great fight & of course you've got Froch v Ward in the Super Six final which should be great too.

He's definitely not under-rated. I like Haye but like one of the other posters says, he's a B level fighter at best.
Doesn't really have the skills to be an A level fighter & I think the fight against Wlad proved it. He kept trying that jab to the body & the over-hand right. That might work on a Fraduley, Ruiz or someone like that but in the A class of fighters, its not enough.
A lot of credit for what he has achieved in the sport though.
Well if Bradley finds his balls again then we might find out. If it does ahead, I'd say Bradley will win but can see a few headbutts from good ol' Timmah .

Your idol is an overrated cheater, who was defeated by a slow, aged Sugar Shane, even with his gloves loaded. I'm expecting Floyd to win...but I won't be surprised if he gets rocked, especially as he said he's going to go toe to toe with Ortiz. But saying that Floyd could just as easily go and school Ortiz ala Mosely & Marquez.
I wouldn't go as far as saying the movie sucked but I wasn't that impressed by it. I felt more let down by the ending if anything but Bale's performance was awesome, Adams & Wahlberg did a stand up job.
The boxing that was shown was a bit of a let down though, definitely thought this needed improving.
