AA doesn't move well and if he thinks he is going to cover up and try to peek-a-boo with Kelly not only is he going to lose rounds here in the US but he is going to learn real fast that he is fighting more than the 1-1-2 down the pipe fighter that Pavlik is criticized as being.
Kelly works the body well and has an under-rated chin. Unless this fight happens in Germany and AA is handed a gift I see Kelly comfortably winning a UD or a late rounds stoppage as AA tires.

It was reported by WKBN 27 in Youngstown last night, nothing futher online yet, I have been looking. The word was not that the fight was signed but that it was all but a done deal, hence the "?" in the title and my statement that I hope the fight gets made.

Pavlik fought the best in the division on his way to the top and as far as AA and Sturm are concerned, it "takes two to tango". The unification will happen, right now none of the parties involved seem to be interested in much more than lip service at this point.

I think this is a good fight for Kelly to come back to after the whole Hopkins mess. Rubio will be a tougher fight than Lockett, but shouldn't pose too much of a problem for Pavlik.
