Kelly Pavlik got ink'd up!

Since he got his tattoo after beating Margarito, Mosley went against the getting a tattoo after a loss trend. but Mosley hasn't won a fight since getting his tribal tattoo

I'm starting to believe Pavlik passed out at a tatoo parlor and due to that incident got into rehab.

That came out of nowhere, he's covered in tat's now. yep certainly seems the case. Pav didn't get rid of any of his old tattoos, just added right? I don't need to go psycho annalist, but it seems like un necessary spending if you ask me. Why mark your body up? Floyd had a point when he said Mosley getting tattooed at 38 was about insecurity. I do recall hearing that line. The exact quote was "who waits till 38 to get a tattoo? Who's he trying to kid" and getting a tribal tattoo is pretty generic IMO. dope tatts! no sweet tats. margs has the worst tats, followed by cotto, followed by pac with Pavlik's recent tattoo outburst he could actually take the lead. It's certainly an issue of insecurity. Its become normal!" in a magazine I read a while back there was an article about tattoos that stated over 65% of people in the U.S. have at least 1 tattoo. **can we get some more comments .. BUMP

this is what usually happens when 12-15 year old kids are allowed to get their hands on computers. everythings under scrutiny everyones have opinions as if it matters. dang why cant a fighter have tattoos, its their body dammmit leave them alone. :twak::twak:

All those fighters outside Margarito had tattoos before the losses. Doesn't mean anything. I don't recall Cotto having any tattoos. Hatton got a much bigger one Tyson got on on his face, that's pretty extreme don't you think?

For crying out loud, you all sound like a bunch of old women at their weekly bridge club card game. The tats don't mean a damn thing - Pavlik had ink before his title run, added to it when he was holding the belts and now has more. Who gives a rat's ass? The Ghost is going to wreck Lopez tonight and go on to make noise at 168.

I'm no expert on tats and the pic makes it hard to judge accurately, but they don't look too bad for me. Decent artistry and juxtaposition at least. It's just shocking to see them all appear in such a short time. Really threw me for a loop. As for its being a sign of insecurity, I don't want to sit here and armchair psychoanalyse Kelly's mental condition, but he definitely seems to be a bit troubled. In addition to his bouts of drinking, rehab, run-ins with the law etc I don't think that's too big an assumption to make. If it affects his fight I don't know. I hope not. Kelly's an exciting bloke whom I'd like to see back at the top of his game again.

Kelly doesn't look good. And his opponent appears to be bigger and stronger than he is. I have a bad feeling about this fight. yeah but when has pavlik ever looked good at a weigh in or even in general?? he always looks skinny/soft

Kelly doesn't look good. And his opponent appears to be bigger and stronger than he is. I have a bad feeling about this fight. It can be Top Rank's version of "Action Heroes". In which Pavlik will get stopped by Lopez, Arce will be game but get beaten by WV2 in an exciting but lopsided fight, Alvarado will beat Clottey's relative, and Mosley, in a losing effort, will put up a better fight than we had all anticipated. Then again, Top Rank makes this impossible to happen, because the match makers are so good, they are very smart in not letting upsets happen. They let it happen with Lopez-Salido recently, which is very rare.
