Sauerland offers Kelly Pavlik $3 million to face the Abrahammer!

It's good timing by Team Sauerland, calling Pavlik's bluff knowing his has plans to fight someone else. Sauerland is probably expecting a 'No' answer but knowing it'll make Pavlik look bad for turning it down because this is the fight everyone wants to see. Good tactic. Pavlik can't hide forever behind the Locketts and Rubios of the world.

To Kelly, I say push for a little more money, pack your bags and get on a plane to Germany. Please. It's a great payday and you won't have to worry about it going to the cards one way or another. He was THE rising star in boxing until he met up with Hopkins and a loss to one of the all time great middleweights now has people talking about Kelly like he is some kind of club fighter. On the other side of the coin you have AA who, as you pointed out, has NONE of the skills that Hopkins used to give Pavlik a tough night. However, on this site you would think he is the second coming... AA doesn't move well and if he thinks he is going to cover up and try to peek-a-boo with Kelly not only is he going to lose rounds here in the US but he is going to learn real fast that he is fighting more than the 1-1-2 down the pipe fighter that Pavlik is criticized as being. Kelly works the body well and has an under-rated chin. Unless this fight happens in Germany and AA is handed a gift I see Kelly comfortably winning a UD or a late rounds stoppage as AA tires.

Pavlik beats Abraham by decision IMO. Arthur has great power but lacks the skills to hang with an elite guy like Pavlik.

And another thing, why does it matter if the fight's in Germany? This fight ain't going the twelve rounds.. Abraham rarely takes a punch he isn't ready for. I see the might more than likely going the distance with Pavlik winning 10 rounds Abraham in full retreat in his turtle shell down the stretch.

I like Pavlik. But how long can you be considered the best MW if you fight nothing but bums? He needs to step up and beat someone who matters sometime this year or I think people will start losing intrest in him. HBO already began to lose intrest, he'll find himself fighting on Versus or something. He beat Taylor, but who else. Lockett, Rubio, maybe Mora now, is this guy seriously considered the best? He did act like a pussy when he lost to Bernard, he made excuses blaming the weight. His second fight with Taylor was at 168, why did he not have a problem then? Because it wasn't the weight, Hopkins exposed him. He's the best because he beat the undisputed MW champ, twice. And hopkins has exposed a few fighters, no shame in that, he's a true legend and was made for pavlik stylistically. Abraham has power, thats all ive seen from him, and I havent seen all these big names he's beaten, maybe someone would like to tell me them and ill try and get the fights and take a look.

Pavlik isn't a ducker he should take this fight. It's the biggest one at MW until Danny Jacobs and the rest of the young stars reach their peak.

it all depends on aa handling the weight at 160 which i dont think he can.. looked a shadow of himself at the weekend... pavlik or arum should i say wont take the risk.. What's so good about Abraham? easy win for abraham, Pavlick is so robitic and slow, his last fight agains Rubio was dire and he looked rubbish Ermm did you see Abraham vs Simon, ermm its was competitive, and Abraham's footwork is hilarious, he is so wide punching its unreal and he spends lots of time standing still covering up. He wont get rounds for that shit if he goes to america and fights Kelly. Neither of them are technical geniuses, but I think the fight will happen, In the USA, and I think Pavlik can get the win, probably decision. If Abraham cant land clean, I cant see him winning this one.
