I had GGG winning but people shouldn't let somebody else's opinion sway them on scoring a fight when they have two working eyes and knowledge about the sport. Not compubox not Jim Lampley or boxing media.
Wouldn't respect the of opinion of a man who switched their stance because it wasn't popular. But yeah GGG definitely won.
Canelo's defense was damn good. He took the left hook and straight right away from GGG.
Why are Mayweather fans celebrating a Canelo draw against GGG like it's a win?
Why are Floyd fans so anti GGG?
I'm a Floyd fan that picked GGG to win and thought he won.
Dawson wanted to replace Taylor in the super 6 tourney and he called out Ward at 168. He made a dumb decision. Not to mention he was fighting two old men back to back then fought the young bucks and started losing.
Generally they wouldn't, but whoever is running Rigo's account is clearly a troll. I'm sure Rigo's fans have attacked Rafael as well while mentioning Rigo.
It just seems strange with fighters putting so much on their social media that a journalist would block that. I'm not familiar with Rigo's Twitter so if you say it's someone running his account and just trolling then I'll take your word for it.
That fight was supposed to be a gentleman's agreement. A boxing match in the MMA cage. Silva threw a kick breaking the agreement and Mercer bombed him out.
Probably got his priorities f#cked up. He's young & talented & just starting to get headlines, attention + money. Lotsa people f#ck up whtn that becomes a reality & a few even end up completely f#cking up their trajectory if not their career. If Tank is the former or the later its still too early to say & ultimately he'll choose via his actions.
Randomly, on a podcast today Brandon Schaub said Floyd appeared to be backing off of his confidence in Tank's superstar potential in the fighter meeting when he got brought up. Mighta just been mad about the missed weight or mighta been being 100 with them. Who knows.
Yeah I see that happening. Floyd was asked what was the biggest thing he'd learned from boxing outside the ring and Floyd made a statement about young fighters being ungrateful. Saying he's giving guys advances and they're messing around. I figured he was talking about Tank
GGG wins this most likely by stoppage. Won't even be his toughest fight. Canelo can fight but there's a reason why they were fighting at 155 and not going up to middleweight.
let's BET a 1 trillion of your points
Oh snap. I didn't even know i had that many points. You just wanna bet that Canelo wins? I don't know how to make it official but I'm in.
He was headed to Russia but Povetkin was dirty.
I'm not a fan of Joshua..... and I think Wilder beats him... and I prefer Wilder..... BUT - Tell me.... when did Deontay take his belt outside of the US?
I personally don't care where the fight happens... as long as it happens.... but you can't use the 'a champion needs to go around the world to defend there belt(s)' if the other guy doesn't do it either.
They both want the fight in their own backyards.... the reality is that one of them needs to just bite the bullet and be the bigger man and concede.... but right now... neither of them are (not just one of them).
I would also go with Pedraza. He held wins over Tevin Farmer, Beltran and Cherry. Easter barely squeaked out thin victories over Commey and Fortuna, many felt they were gifts. Pedraza is certainly the better skilled and more polished of the two.
Farmer was 7-3-1 when they fought he's not that guy anymore. Beltran is an old man who's claim to fame is being Pac man's sparring partner. Cherry is another old man and Sniper got a gift against him.
Easter is inconsistent and has a few questionable wins but he's also never been knocked out. I say equal quality wins.
I stopped caring about Rigo after the Lomachenko “fight.” Finally lost all respect. I would’ve had much higher regard for him if he got knocked out cold in the first round.
My Cuban friends felt the same way but they seem to be somewhat excited about him training alongside Lara. Told them Loma was gonna smash him but when he quit they flipped.
Of course he would but the fights not on ESPN so he can say the truth about it.
That shows a lack of integrity. Maybe Teddy Atlas should spend more time with him.
Bradley ended his career with a great pedrigree but at similar points in their careers the best fighter he had faced was Junior Witter. If Tank was on Espn Bradley would be talking about how much trouble Gamboa gave Crawford and how he's still dangerous and shouldn't be taken lightly.
Donaire's experience is why he did so well in this fight. He was obviously more explosive in his prime but he's a more intelligent fighter with experience fighting bigger men. Inoue beat the naturally bigger fighter and almost stopped him while having damage to his eye socket. I don't think any version of Donaire beats him.
As badly rocked as Khan was in round 3 when Danny clipped him they would've stopped the fight in the amateurs. Khan would've just ran around the ring after building a two round lead though if that had been an am fight.
He really only needs to win two rounds and he's a dynamo the first two rounds. I hope he decides against doing it I'd lose some respect for the guy.
It was more than likely Broner didn't want the fight so instead of just saying no they put a bunch of roadblocks up for Shawn. Shawn accepted everything then team Broner was stuck with the fight then realized it would hurt Broner too so they had it removed. Broner really wanted Shawn to scoff at the demands and turn the fight down.
Oh ****! I guess there was too much bread on the line to cancel the fight. Guys have had injuries going into fights they just deny when doctors ask about it. Can't imagine someone getting cleared to fight like that
This is a very good matchup. Broner had the edge in handspeed and Mikey has better technique. Both guys have good power. Broner has fought the better comp but Mikey has less wear and tear. I'm certain the only reason Mikeys team is taking the fight is based on howMikey did with Maidana in sparring and what happened with the Broner fight. Damn good fight and I'm happy it was made.
You're kidding yourself bud. Broner has no advantage except the weight advantage which is actually a disadvantage. This is gonna be ****ing brutal bro.
Broner has a **** ton of kids, insane amounts of child support and no recent fights. This is a cash grab and he's gonna get beaten to a bloody pulp and whipped up on.
I'm a bigger fan of Mikey than i am of AB but he's proven his toughness more than Mikey has. What happens if Mikey gets caught with something big early and gets hurt how is he gonna respond? We know the answer when it comes to Broner. Even fight with a slight edge going to Mikey.
