Inoue has even a slightly longer reach than Pacquiao which was shocking and astonishing. I really thought in my mind Pacquiao was supposed to be way longer and bigger. Should Inoue pursue the same path as Pacquiao into superstardom? I mean who else is there for him at the lower weights? Casimero no longer has a title, as for the rest, he would beat them up like a pulp. This was the same case with Manny Pacquiao back in 2008 after he finally completed full circle and beaten Three(3) of the Greatest fighters of that era in Erik Morales (trilogy), Marco Antonio Barrera (2), Juan Manuel Marquez (2) at this point there was nothing left for Manny, he already beat the best of the very best in that weight division. He wanted Manny to keep on going and fight this giant, massive, bigger--longer guys non-stop. it was shocking really. You think Bob can do this kind of abuse to Americans? Hell NO WAY. But Inoue is Asian and just like Pacquiao, he may have the option to get this Death March from Bob Arum.

Terence Crawford is still looking for any opponent that's acceptable to the public. I heard Porter is in talks because he's back as the new mandatory. But then again, that may not push through for the same promotional reasons. This is where Vergil Ortiz can sneak through. Crawford vs Vergil may happen if the public will aggressively ask for it. They already have a backstory because they share the same opponent in Kavaluaskas where both of their victories against him are impressive and then you add to that, that Vergil have been calling for a fight against Terence for years and it makes Vergil a perfectly acceptable fight for Bud in the eyes of the fans.

Listen that was a close fight where either fighter may have won the fight. Back in the day when either fighter is barely connecting, judges usually lean more towards the aggressor, this is to encourage future fighters to risk more--to throw more. Obviously this isn't good for the health of the fighters but this is good for the health of the sport. The arrival of Mayweather as the new cash cow of boxing in America may have temporarily threw a curve ball to the default aggressor's era into a defensive era; but unfortunately for Rigo that era may be over and he's now fighting at this era ready to transition back to aggressor's era. But in an aggressor's era, judges just lean more on aggressors because their priority is the overall health of the sport.

Joshua Clottey is the fighter who gave hell to Miguel Cotto which says this guy is no slouch, he's a quality guy. Same scenario for Ugas, Ugas gave Shawn Porter hell which says that this guy is absolute quality fighter and maybe on his way to elite status. The main difference here is that Pacquiao is 12 years older now. Both Clottey and Ugas is damn huge welterweights mold physically for modern welterweights like a Thurman, Crawford, Spence, Ennis, Ortiz so forth. Both of them is the proverbial HIGH risk LOW reward fighters. Spiritually, the belt that Ugas carries right now is actually still Pacquiao's, he may have got it technically via the corruption connivance of PBC and WBA, but most boxing fans still recognize that it is Pacquiao's belt and Ugas is just an e-mail/paper champion. Ugas might have been training for this fight since day one--he actually knows he's not fighting a random Fabian Maidana from the start. Manny's camp is now left with a mere 10-day preparation just like when he fought Ledwahba back in the day, now you add to that the frustration and demoralization about the situation. We might be looking for a HUGE upset here come Aug. 21.

This looks shady and a magnet to conspiracy theorists now because Canelo team has foresaw this PBC replacement scam scenario. Canelo team has a gut-feeling that Plant will be replaced by David Benavidez by manufacturing some fake injury down the line at the last minute that's why PBC wanted the replacement fee adjusted because they are basing it on Benavidez's market value. This is probably why they only offered 5 million to Pacquiao, perfect fee for a sudden Ugas type replacement. PBC should reveal the Doctors and medical procedures that Errol Spence will undergo or this replacement is more likely another scam. Let's hope PBC and Spence's camp will be more transparent on this.

There's always this one judge that scores ridiculous in a mega fight--it is as if this mysterious judge has totally forgotten how to score a fight. Even a casual wonders why he feels he can score better than this mysterious judge when this is not even his job. What they didn't realize is that they were true because that particular judge is a paid judge, he/she acts as an insurance for major promotional companies to favor their fighter. All major promotional companies have this nuclear option. Unless you can knockout their fighter, you will almost always lose in the cards because you're already automatically down in one judge.

If somehow David's chin holds up against Canelo which I feel it very well could, David will overwhelm Canelo with his unlimited work rate and stamina. Canelo will lose in this fight badly. They know this aura will be passed to Spence after Errol beats Manny in a spectacular fashion. This helps the fight promotion tremendously and will certainly help Spence stock reach new heights after he retires Manny. It's a win-win for everybody, except may be for Terence Crawford.

There are a lot of fantastic fights for Canelo. Hearn mentioned he likes to fight Beterbiev. Artur is a unifiied and Lineal champ at 175 lbs and I think this is the fight that most of the hard core fans wanted for Canelo for a long time. Canelo could hit two birds with one stone in this fight as he will be the man at 175 lbs and he has a chance to KO. all his doubters.

It's the best possible opponent for Crawford right now. Thurman is the most reputable and decorated welterweight out there for him and Thurman needs an opponent as much as Crawford. This is the best match up for Crawford right now.

I just realized that Canelo Alvarez can't put a dent on Cotto when they fought each other but recently every opponent of Canelo was dropping like flies. Is Cotto actually a monster back in the day like GGG?
