Ugas looks to continue the work in the second half of the Keith Thurman, Manny is about to be in a legendary WAR of attrition. After this fight, Pac will have nothing left anymore.
UGAS is feared by all Welterweights. People don't know him because he's not yet popular. But Porter is already scared to give him a rematch due to Ugas' complexity and toughness, Thurman doesn't even want to get 1-foot near this guy, Crawford can't even utter the word Ugas. This is a boogeyman on here. Pacquiao is taking on a guy on an 8-day notice after drilling all his habits against a southpaw. Any other fighter will never ever do such a thing. Pacquiao is probably clueless and uninterested on who Ugas is and he's in for a surprise this coming Aug. 21.
Ugas is not a big puncher going on this performance but it didn't ever need a big puncher to beat Packy, it just needed a current well ranked problem free boxer to beat him. Ugas has skills but not being a big puncher will hold him back as it has until now. Anyway I'm just glad to see the end of the last few years Packy fiasco, pity he didn't retire just after he reached his peak but money is money so as long as the fans are there why not keep going.
I suppose you are hellbent on this observation and arguing it will be pointless. I didn’t Pacquiao get hurt once. Enjoy the rest of your day.
We're not going to argue. You did wrote that it will take a couple of rounds, for pac to realize he wasn't jjm, and pick Ugas apart. That didn't happen because he felt the power, especially to the body, remember when he complained and took a couple of minutes, that was not a lowblow. I think that qualify for being hurt.
He did hurt pacquio. Why do you think he respected Ugas? He didn't went wild, like he does, when facing weak punchers. I never say he was a big puncher. But weak he ain't.

I don’t get it. Did he like win by KO or scored a bunch of KD’s? Did he wobbled and hurt Pacquiao all around the ring?
I don’t understand. This is pretty bizarre. Like was his performance where he won a decision supposed to show he’s a big puncher?
Help me understand. What did you see in the fight that makes him a puncher?

You are not alone thinking he's a weak puncher. I guess you know now, he ain't that weak.

You were wrong, very wrong. I hope you are not one of those, excusing pac.
Nope, unlike most of the d+ckriders here. I’m a fan of BOXING and not infatuated with personal boxers. Ugas did a fine job.
I LOVE pac fights! One of the FEW fights I ever pay for now and I do it GLADLY but this fight I am not going to buy. We all know whose going to win. Only fighter I think could give him problems outside of Spence is Crawford and Porter. Thats who Id pay to see him fight. This is a waste of time.

It will be stylistically difficult. I pick Pacquiao by decision because I have never seen Pacquiao have much issues with weak punchers.
Mayweather is a different story. He's not a big puncher but he is great at literally everything else you need to be great at in order to overcome your weak power.
But Pacquiao usually is a tornado vs weak punchers. Look at how Bradley, Algieri, Vargas, all struggled with him despite being bigger and younger. He had no care in the world because he could take their punches with ease, and they could not really take his.You are not alone thinking he's a weak puncher. I guess you know now, he ain't that weak.
- -Cubanos the fainting goats of boxing. Their only warrior is Luis Ortiz and we saw how that worked out for him.
What grade U get put back this year?
Do you have anything to say?
Yeah Pacquiao could not handle all that. Horn was too much.
The ref was even about to stop the fight due to the beating Pacquiao was taking.
Oh no, wait, my bad. The ref went to Horn's corner and warned them of stopping the fight if he keeps getting his ass beat by Pacquiao.
Yeah, but no. Go on.
Thank you, I will go on. If you want to be real then don't pretend what did happen didn't. You see this is the problem, pactrads screaming and crying about Horn's rough treatment of their idol and Packy ducking the rematch are facts that show that the warrior claim is nonsense. Warriors simply don't duck and their fans don't sook.
they have pacquaio for a 3 fight deal. Im pretty sure Haymon doesnt want anyone defeating Pacquaio till that 3rd bout.
Broner, Thurman, spence/ugas
This is the 3rd pbc fight
I see Ugas as the tougher fighter than Spence. Shawn Porter clearly lost to Ugas while Porter gave pre-crash accident Spence a life and death experience so I see Urdenis Ugas as the toughest of the three! :cool2:
Everything you said here is untrue.
Laugh of the day :439: He got plenty of toe to toe and blood and guts against Jeff Horn but couldn't handle it and neither could his fans. The amount of bullship around Pacquiao just never ends, no wonder lots of real boxing fans avoid him.

Yup he was going toe to toe with Jeff Horn and he can handle it. Horn was hospitalized after that fight.
