This looks shady and a magnet to conspiracy theorists now because Canelo team has foresaw this PBC replacement scam scenario.
Canelo team has a gut-feeling that Plant will be replaced by David Benavidez by manufacturing some fake injury down the line at the last minute that's why PBC wanted the replacement fee adjusted because they are basing it on Benavidez's market value. This is probably why they only offered 5 million to Pacquiao, perfect fee for a sudden Ugas type replacement.
PBC should reveal the Doctors and medical procedures that Errol Spence will undergo or this replacement is more likely another scam. Let's hope PBC and Spence's camp will be more transparent on this.
PBC Replacement Scam Update #2:
The sparring video which was released by the PBC out of the blue is the precursor to the replacement scam move that they were about to pull.
This answers those weird questions about why the heck would PBC release a sparring session where Errol Spence's sparring partner is killing him. At that time it doesn't make any sense why would they do that to Spence--Errol was their main guy why would they betray him like that. Now we have the answer---PBC was preparing the public for their replacement scam move.
Replacement Scam Update #1:
What were the names and details of those three (3) Doctors that Errol Spence mentioned he went to? If PBC can't reveal the names of those exactly 3 doctors not 1, not 2, but 3 and their further details for the benefit of the PPV buyers, for those people who already booked their hotels and all the people who got inconvenienced with the whole situation then it's definitely a fake injury because they are afraid to be investigated.
When Manny Pacquiao had a torn rotator cuff injury, he readily revealed his Doctor identity along with the details like his x-ray result. Every detail is made available to the public. Lomachenko did the same thing recently I believe.
Let's hope that PBC will be more transparent in the coming day.

Pacquiao's opponent and Ugas's opponent both suffer eye injuries on the same day. Coincidence?
Makes sense. Too much of a coincidence.
